Monday/Tuesday
Contact opposing coach. Confirm game time, get directions to the field, confirm uniform colors. If colors are the same the Home team changes.
Wed/Thur/Fri
Hand out directions to the field and game time information to your team.
Confrim all of your Players attendance for the Game
Game Day
- Bring ice and a First Aid kit.
- Arrive 30 —45 minutes before game time.
- Home coach Bring corner flags, and check that nets are fastened and goals are anchored.
- Have 2 copies of your official stamped roster, Game Day line up sheet filled out (http://www.rbjsl.org/docs/Schedules/Game_LineupGame_Lineup[1) and RBJSL GAME CARD filled out. Have coaches passes available to present to the Referee. (Only 2 coaches on the sideline)
- Have player passes available for referee.
- Each coach pay 1/2 Referee fee in Cash$ before the game. U-14 T1 and above must also pay 1 of the assitant ref fees as well
- Each team is to provide 1 linesperson to assist the Referee in calling out of bounds.
- Home team provides game ball.
- Make sure your Keeper shirt is a different color from both teams colors. -If there is no referee present the two coaches must decide how the game can fairly be officiated, if no agreement can be made, then the game must be rescheduled through TJ (T1-T2 only, In T-3 the home team should decide if no agrrement can be made and the game should be played. Bring a whistle to each game just in case.
During the Game
- Demonstrate proper conduct and sportsmanship towards opposition and Referee
- You are responsible for your players conduct and the conduct of your fans
- Keep your comments and instructions to your players positive
- Be prepared for injuries
After the Game
- Congratulate the opposing team and thank the Referee
- Keep your post game talk short and positive.
- Report the score on the web (www.rbjsl.org) and to me, WJSC Games Comissioner, TJ Brossman at wjscscorereport@yahoo.com who will send it in to the league.
- If any comments are warranted, good or bad, about the refereeing complete a referee evaluation form http://www.rbjsl.org/docs/Schedules/08SPRING2008RefereeEvaluationForm.pdf and send it to RBJSL. Do not confront the Referee about a call you disagreed with. I suggest a copy to me as well.
- If no referee showed up for the game, report this to Me with your scores.
