2018 SEASON

PARENTINFORMATION

WJCC will be fielding three sidelines teams, one each for 6th, 7th and 8thgrade, as well as a competition team, which will be comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels from within the Woodstock district.

A few important things toremember:

o   There will be an informational parent meeting Tuesday, March 27th at WMS CAFE from 6-7:30pm. You will need to attend this parent meeting in order for your daughter to try out for a squad.

o   ALL CHEERLEADING TRYOUT PAPERWORK, including a completed physical dated no earlier than Nov 30, 2017 and the $35 or $50 tryout fee  will be due Mar 27th.  All paperwork can be found on the Handouts link.

o   Clinics and Tryouts are closed. No family members or friends are permitted to watch. Clinics are not mandatory, but strongly advised in order to learn the cheer, chant, and dance they will need to perform at tryouts. Even if your athlete is only trying out for competition, she will need to learn the dance.

o   The tryout results for competition and sidelines will be posted online (date & time TBA) www.wjccinfo.com .  The results will be listed by the assigned tryout number, not by the athlete’s name.

o   If your child makes a team, there will be a mandatory parent meeting April 25th where your first payment will be due.

o   As communication is done largely via email and/or text, we will need a current and accessible parent email and phone number.

o   Please take the time to completely read the information provided in the registration packet.  Insure that you are ready and able to commit to the items reviewed in the packet.  Again, thank you for trying out for the Woodstock Junior Cheerleading Club!  Good luck!

The members of the Woodstock Junior Cheerleading Club (WJCC) want to thank you for trying out for our cheerleading program.  The WJCC is a volunteer run organization and not a school sponsored event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the board at wjccboard1@gmail.com . Please do not call the school with any questions or issues.  We hope your cheerleader candidate will have a valuable experience during the clinic and tryouts.
