EYEWEAR NOW REQUIRED IN NEW HAMPSHIRE HIGH SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY
In the early spring of 2006, the NHIAA Field Hockey committee passed a new requirement for high school Field Hockey. All players are mandated to wear eye protection beginning with the 2006 Field Hockey season. This policy was adopted to protect our players. This has been an on-going debate over the past few years. However, more recently there have been a number of significant facial injuries that have occured. After many testimonials and much debate, the committee felt it was in the best interest of the players to require eye protection.

WHS Field Hockey is recommending the Bangerz HS-3700 goggle. These goggles allow good vision at eye level, but also, provide good vision, as a player looks to the ground. You can check them out at www.bangerz.com. Coach Osborne has ordered a number of goggles that players can purchase from her at a cost of $35.00. They are now available from her.
