FIELD HOCKEY 2009

PRESEASON BEGINS ON MONDAY, AUGUST 17.  PRACTICE IS FROM 7:30 - 10:30AM.  

We will have our preseason meeting on Wednesday, August 12, at 6:30PM in the gym.   

To all Warrior Fans, we hope you are enjoying the summer.  Our web site is in process for our upcoming season.  

It will continue to be updated through mid July.  At this point our preseason practice schedule is posted.  The game schedule will follow shortly.  Please be sure to make plans to get your physical taken care of before the start of the season.  If you cannot get in to see your physician before we begin, Access Sports is offering $5 physicals at their Portsmouth office at 155 Borthwick Ave on August 4 from 5 - 7PM and at their Exeter office at 1 Hampton Rd. on August 10 from 5 - 7PM.  Be sure to get this taken care of before we start the season.  The WHS physical form will be posted on our handouts page in the next few days.

Our captains, Robin Hunt, Amanda Glynn and Liz Silva, have been organizing our summer league play.  Players should also be enrolled in summer camp.  UNH is offering a field hockey camp.  You can also check at www.usfieldhockey.com, click on camp information to locate a camp, which works for your schedule.  Seacoast United will also be conducting a preseason high school camp.  Check their web site for more information, www.seacoastunited.org.  Their Field Hockey preseason high school camp runs from August 10 - 13.  If you need more information on camps or a brochure contact Coach Osborne.
