Major League All Star Game (Windcrest LL vs NorthEast LL)
Congratulations to the WLL Majors 1st win last night. They won against Northwest LL 7 to 4. Come out and support the Windcrest Little League Major All Star game tonight, Thursday, 2 July @ 8pm @ McAllister Park Field #1.

Junior Softball All Star Game
Windcrest and Northeast Little Leagues have combined the Junior Softball Girls to create a competative All Star Team. Come out and support the girls. The Game is Thursday, 2 July @ 6pm @ Alamo Heights Little League Fields.

Regina Walthers
It is with great sadness to announce that one of our own,
Regina Walthers
a truly wonderful friend and person passed away on
Sunday, 24 May 2009.
Regina has been a friend, president of Windcrest Little League (WLL) several times and an accomplished umpire for District 19. She served as a coach, board member and team mom while volunteering at WLL. Regina represented WLL in state tournaments as an umpire. She umpired at WLL for many years. She attended the Little League World Series while president of WLL. Regina was tournament director for District 19 several times. We were all richer for knowing Regina. She was a damn good lady and we will all miss her.
Please keep her family in your prayers. May Our Lord be with her family, to give them the peace and the strength that they need at this time.

The family would appreciate umpires and players wearing uniforms to the memorial service if they feel comfortable doing so.
- The family has requested that in lieu of flowers; that either a donation in Regina’s name to any of the Cancer Society’s or a donation to a Youth Organization would be Regina’s wish.
