Philosophy

WGSA offers a place for girls ages 5 - 18 years of age to play fastpitch softball at the recreational and competitive level.  All girls from Willis and surrounding communities are invited to participate.  We start in February and play until the middle of May.

Board Meetings

The WGSA board meets at the ball park on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Come and tell us your great ideas on how we can make WGSA a better place.  Please request your ideas in advance for addition to the monthly agenda.  Email agenda suggestions: willisgirlssoftball@yahoo.com

Volunteer

MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Become a mentor.  WGSA is constantly looking for responsible parents to coach in our organization.  No experience?  No problem.  We will provide coaching clinics for existing as well as new coaches. Our only requirements are, you are responsible and have a genuine desire to work with these children in a positive format.  We always need Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Concession Stand Volunteers.  All coaches will be required to submit to a background check.  For some girls, softball is one of the few positive activities in their lives.

Be a part of that activity.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE..........Volunteer this season.

The Willis Girls Softball Association is hosting a Cook Off and Fall Festival that will include various vendors and activities for the kids. We have face painting, pony rides and a dunking booth. For our parents, we will have western crafts, jewelry, hair bows, flip flops and many more.  Please come show your support for our girls! Admission $5 per person/per day at the gate or $8 per person weekend pass.Children 12 & under are FREE If you are interested in cooking please contact Jenny at WGSASOFTBALLMOM@AOL.com. We will hold an early bird registration for our Spring season $85 (no sibling discount due to the early fee) on Oct 16 @ Festival.   Registration includes top, bottoms, socks, trophy for spring season.
