Willamette Little League (Portland, OR): Welcome
The new season is fast approaching and the WLL board is hard a work getting things ready for the 2010 season. Please remember that WLL is 100% volunteer and we need your help. To start with we are updating and making the site current with current dates and times, second here are some initial dates to put on your calendar. We will update soon with a full calendar of events, times, and places.
All sign ups are at SJCC - St. John's Community Center
Jan 27th 5 - 7 PM
Jan 30, Feb 20 & 27 10 - 2 PM
Try outs will be March 6&7 @ SJCC
Little League is a program of service to the youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation.
The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with a goal and to enrich their lives towards the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.
All volunteers need to complete a volunteer application form and submit it to WLL. This applies to anyone who will come in contact with the kids, even if they are just warming up the kids on the field, playing catch, or helping the coach/manager in any way!!! Note that a readable copy of the drivers license is required. It must have the current address and expiration date on the copy. For some older/renewed Oregon licenses this means we need a copy of both sides.
