Russ (son-inlaw) and I went and saw Dad this evening. We were pleased to find Dad sitting up in his chair. After visiting for a while, Dad took a walk around the CCU Ward. 100ft to be exact.. He did great but then he crashed.. Very Tired!! Tomorrow at 7am they will be doing surgery on his left neck artery. This surgery will be much easier for him than yesterdays. Doctor had also commented that they will echo his heart, which we will then find out its condition. Dad wanted me to make to tell everyone "thank you and he will see you all soon"....

They have removed Dads breathing tube and he is on his own. They do still have him using oxygen. This afternoon they will begin removing IV’s one at a time and then this evening they plan to have him up and sitting in a chair.. Hospital words: Dad is still “out of it” - I would be to if it where me! Just know- Dad is doing good!!

Big League Softball will be kicking off the 2009 Season with 2 games played at South Milwaukee Little League complex. We again are planning on having 4 teams of girls ready to kick off the season starting on June 16th. at 6:00 P.M. in South Milwaukee. This is a great chance for all District Leagues with softball to have their girls come out and watch the games. Big League Softball is where we want them all to end up playing in future years. Location of South Milwaukee Little League Complex can be found in the Locations folder to the left on web site! There is a 2009 Information letter and also a 2009 Player Registration form attached below Big League Softball Article. Look forward to seeing everyone at the kick off of the 2009 season, Grandpa Butch
