UNIFORM CARE - MUST READ

Uniforms must be cleaned properly to maintain their proper game appearance.   As you receive your uniform this year, take note of the Uniform Care Washing listed below to ensure you are taking proper care of the unform while it's in your custody OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED TO REPLACE EITHER THE UNIFORM ITSELF OR MISSING NUMBERS.

Uniform Care Washing

  1. Turn uniform INSIDE-OUT  (So lettering is on the inside and somewhat protected).
  2. For stains, use Spray and Wash on uniform prior to washing it.
  3. Machine Wash COLD water only, GENTLE cycle  (so colors won't fade or blend).
  4. DO NOT use detergent with BLEACH nor SOFTNER.
  5. DO NOT wash colored uniform with white uniform.
  6. Hang-Dry Only; DO NOT PUT THEM IN A DRYER FOR ANY REASON.

Improper Care Results

  • Cracked Numbers:  Putting uniform in a dryer will cause lettering to crack.
  • Numbers Coming Off: Will happen if softner is used during the cleaning process.
  • Streaked, Discolored or Splotchy Numbers: If your detergent contains bleach, colors on either numbers or colored uniforms could occur.
  • White Uniforms have "blue or red tint": This occurs when washed with other colored clothing.
  • Mold on Uniform: This occurs when they are put in a bag damp and left to dry, whether this occurs after a game from sweat or after washing. Best to always let them hang dry.
