2006 Wichita Titans Baseball Team
This site will allow parents, players and fans to access important information about the team.
The Titan's are a proud member of the Westurban 8-year old league, located in Wichita, KS. The Titan's finished 3rd in the Westurban league, 3rd in the State Tournament and placed 2nd in the Topeka Titan Invitational Tournament held in Topeka, KS this past season.
The Wichita Titan's baseball team is a special group of young athletes. The philosophy of the club is simple! It's to provide a fun and exciting atmosphere for boys who want to learn the game of baseball, while playing the game grounded in sound fundamentals. This will help the boys improve upon their individual skill levels, learn to play at a competitive level, and progress in baseball as individuals and as a team.
As mentioned, the goal of the coaching staff is to emphasize and teach the fundamentals of baseball; proper technique, sportsmanship, and team work. Diligence combined with fundamentals will provide our platform for success.
The team's goal is to create enthusiasm and pride in playing the game with the common coaching emphasis as stated above. All of our players and parents have a passion for the game of baseball. We hope you will join us in cheering on these young boys in the upcoming season.
