FLAG FOOTBALL INFORMATION: The West Hartford Youth Football League offers a Flag Football program to 5 and 6 year olds. There is no weight restriction but the player can not be in the second grade. The Flag Football season starts the last Friday in August and runs through the regular Football season. Practices are at Sterling Field on Fridays from 5:00 TO 6:00 and games are on Sundays at 10:45. The objective of the West Hartford Youth Football League is to instill in the youth of the Town of West Hartford principles of good citizenship, sportsmanship and teamwork, through the knowledge of and association in, the competitive sport of football. The League is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 who reside in or attend school in West Hartford.
