Sunday, February 3 Squirt Snowbelt Team Captures First Place!!!
Congratulations to the Squirt Snowbelt team for finishing the Snowbelt League season in first place. The Squirts led the Snowbelt East Division with a record of 19 - 1. Good luck Squirts in the Snowbelt League season ending J.A.M. Tournament Feb 29 - Mar 2. The Squirt Snowbelt team consists of Cody Giannini, Zachery Hadasz, Shane Roback, Alanna Phillips, Rhys Wilson-Smith, Tyler Murfet, Issac Fortner-Duenas, Brian Martin, Matt Black, Chris Brothers, Nick Hajdasz, Jacqueline White, Josh Deeley and Alec Roback. The Squirts are coached by Dave Roback, Alan White, Craig Brothers and Bob Martin. Monday, January 28 Bantam Travel Wins Lake George Forum Tournament!!! Congratulations to the WYHA Bantam Travel Team for winning the Lake George Forum Tournament, held 1/26 & 27, in Lake George. The Bantams beat Natick, MA, 4-1 and Merrimack, NY, 9-1 in the round robin segment. They were again victorious against Natick this time 5-2 in the Championship Game. Monday, January 14 Bantam Travel Wins Robert Esche Tournament!!! Congratulations to the WYHA Bantam Travel team for taking first place in this past weekend's Robert Esche Travel Tournament held in Whitestown. The Bantams went undefeated in the preliminary games, beating Rome, Webster, and Cortland. The championship game featured a rematch with Webster and Whitestown was again victorious, this time by a score of 8-3. Friday, December 28 D-Mite Learn To Skate Second Session Registration The D-Mite Learn to Skate second session will begin on Tuesday, January 8th at 5:00 pm. You may register your child during this first night of practice. The cost is $75 for the ten week session and the registration packet can be downloaded below. Returning children from the first session need only to fill out the first three pages (page 1 and 2 to WYHA and page 3 the parent keeps). Children registering for the first time with WYHA need to fill out all of the registration forms and include a copy of the child's birth certificate. Whitestown Youth Hockey picture night will be on Wednesday, January 16th. Please see your coach if you have not received your picture order envelope. Be sure to fill out your complete mailing address as the pictures this year will be mailed directly to your home.

Sunday, December 9 Squirt Snowbelt Wins Mark Mowers Tournament!!! Congratulations to the WYHA Squirt Snowbelt team for taking first place in this past weekend's Mark Mowers Tournament held in Whitestown. The Squirts went 2 - 1 in the preliminary games winning against Midstate and Clifton Park but losing to Adirondack. In the championship game, Whitestown played Adirondack for the second time in seven hours this time winning the game and championship by the score of 4 - 3.
Sunday, December 9 Midget 16U Wins Mark Mowers Tournament!!! Congratulations to the WYHA Midget 16U team for taking first place in this past weekend's Mark Mowers Tournament held in Whitestown. The Midgets went 2 - 1 in the preliminary games winning games against Mohawk Valley and Webster while dropping a game to Camillus. The championship game featured a rematch with Mohawk Valley and Whitestown again won the game, this time by a score of 5 - 2. Tuesday, September 18 WYHA Parent Pre Try-out Meeting To parents who will have their children participating in WYHA travel team tryouts next week there will be a informative parent meeting on Monday, 9/24, 6pm, @ the Whitestown Community Center. At this meeting we will discuss the tryout process and answer any questions parents might have. Monday, September 3 Final WYHA Open Registration Mon, Sept 10th 6-8pm Whitestown Youth Hockey Association will be holding an additional registration for the upcoming 2007-08 season on Monday, 9/10, 6-8pm at the Whitestown Community Center. Members who could not attend the two previous registrations please plan to attend on Monday evening as this will be the last open registration night offered. Registrants should bring a copy of their birth certificate. Saturday, August 9 WYHA Full Season Registration Fees Reduced To help make hockey more affordable for our families, WYHA's ... Handout: 2007 WYHA Boot Camp Form Saturday, July 14 WYHA Registration and Midget 18U Wrap Tryout Dates WYHA will hold open registration on Monday and Wednesday, August 20th and 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Whitestown Community Center adjacent to the rink. This registration will be for all levels from D-Mites to Midgets. For those wishing to tryout for this year's Midget 18U Wrap team the tryout will be held on Thursday, August 23rd from 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm. The Midget Wrap season starts before the high hockey school season and then finishes up once the high school season has been completed. WYHA is also projecting to have a Midget Snowbelt (18U) full season team this year. Players desiring to sign-up for this team are not required to tryout for the Midget 18U Wrap team. However, any player that does not make the Midget 18U Wrap team would be eligible to play on the Midget Snowbelt full season team.
