White Sox Academy 12U

Our '06-'07 12u team wrapped up its storybook season with an impressive 7th place finish in a field of 80 teams at the NSA World Series in Charlotte, NC. The talk wasn't about the ellusive title. Instead, the focus was on what the Team accomplished in the 2007 Season.

Our squad won an impressive 7 tournaments, including the Illinois USSSA and NSA State Championships, and in addition were runner-ups in two 14-Under Tournaments. The team ended the season with an overall record of 76 Wins, 9 Losses, which included 29 shut-outs, 10 no-hitters and a run differential of 574:165. Way to Play!!!!

Most important, we impressed many teams who approached us throughout the season to compliment the team on not only their play, but behavior, attitude and drive.Thank you to the Coaching Staff, Players, Families, and Fans of the White Sox Academy!
Go Sox!!!!!!!

It just started off with a huge bang!!!!Big kudos to the young ladies of our 12U Squad on their 1st place finish at the "Battle of the Bats”, 10.7.07, in Tinley Park! The 12u Sox were winners in all 6 games played!!! They had a run differential of 66-3!  This Tournament was a 2008 NSA World Series Qualifier for Class "A". Great job team and coaches! Looking forward to seeing you continue to develop as a team and much more success this coming year.

June 15 -- Our 12U girls bring home their 6th First Place finish of the season.  The Championship game found the Bulls/Sox Academy facing the Orland Park Sparks.  For the second weekend in a row, the weather brought challenges for the tournament.  The girls prevailed and made their Fathers proud on their special day.
