"Golfing Pride and Tradition"

This website is designed to help viewers learn about the Whitesboro Central School Varsity Golf program.
Our Varsity Golf Team is a member of the Tri Valley League, which includes New Hartford, Notre Dame, Holland Patent, RFA,Proctor, Oneida and Camden. We also are a Section III Class A team.
Our teams are made up of students in Grades 7 through 12. On the boys side we have a Varsity consisting of six players playing in matches with the best 5 out of 6 scores determining a team winner. On the girls side we have a Varsity consisting of six players playing in matches with the best 4 out of 6 scores determining a team winner. Our coaching staff consists of Boys Varsity  Coach Gene Kaczor in his 42nd season and Athletic Director Mike Deuel. Our home course is Hidden Valley GC located in Whitesboro, NY (315-736-9953). For the 2011 season our boys varsity record was 12 - 2 League and 15- 3 overall. In the last 17 seasons our boys varsity record is 256 - 39 with 5 undefeated seasons 12 League Championships and 5 Class A-2 Section III Championships. The girls varsity also finished with their third straight TVL Championship. Unfortunately, the girls golf program has been dropped due to budget concerns.

On May 12th, 2012 we will be holding our Eighth Annual Warrior Golf Classic. In the Boys Division, last year's winner, Whitesboro, will be defending their title. Returning will be Watertown, New Hartford, Marcellus, Skaneateles, Cazenovia, Camden, Old Forge and Bishop Ludden. Also participating will be newcomers Clinton, Westhill and General Brown.

Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole for the 8th Warrior Classic can contact Carla Odell or any Golf Booster. Holes will start at $100.

Spring 2012 Scheduled Fundraisers

 The Whitesboro Golf Boosters are accepting any donations and/or contributions anyone would like to make to help fund various golf projects, namely the Warrior Classic and the end of the year Banquet, among others that would help enhance the Boys and Girls Golf Teams.
