The Whipper-Snappers are an independant girls' fastpitch softball team located in the Sycamore-Dekalb, IL area. They were established in 2004 and in 2006 finished 5th at the 16U USSSA Nationals.

The coaching staff has over 15+ years of experience and have 2 top 5 finishes at the USSSA World Series, including a National Championship in 1999. In addition they have no kids on the team, therefore no personal biases.

 We will only have 1 team per age level, we do not beleive in taking everyone who tries out and then make multiple teams. Each team will consist of 12-14 girls.

2009 WHIPPER-SNAPPERS TRY-OUTS: will be held on Sunday August 10th and Tuesday August 12th @ The Cortland Community Park (2 blocks East of Somonauk Rd on Chestnut in Cortland, IL (there is a Casey's Gas Station on the corner of Chestnut and Somonauk)) for 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U teams.

Sunday August 10th:     12U and 14U : 11am-1pm,      16U and 18u : 1-3pm

Tuesday August 12th:    12U and 14U : 5-6pm,          16U and 18U : 6-7pm 

Directions:

From the East: Take Rt.38 west to Somonauk Rd, go North on Somonauk to Chestnut (Casey's on Corner), Go East on Chestnut to Field.

From the West: Take Rt.38 east to Somonauk Rd, go North on Somonauk to Chestnut(Casey's on Corner), Go East on Chestnut to Field.

From North or South: Take best way to Rt.38 and Somonauk Rd, then go North on Somonauk to Chestnut (Casey's on Corner), Go East on Chestnut to Field.
