WHGSL: News: Mission Statement
The WHGSL's mission is to assure that all girls, regardless of previous experience or skill level, are welcome to play in our league. We support this mission by teaching all players good citizenship, teamwork and sportsmanship. The skills of each player are improved through instruction and practice, education in the rules, strategies and techniques of the sport, and by promoting each player's personal development through participation in competitive team play with peers of comparable age and skill level. All of this is done in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
