The Wheaton Wildcats Travel Softball Program had their first travel team in 1987 and now have 10U Gold, 12U Gold, 14U Gold, and 16U Gold teams. This program requires players to live within District 200 and/or Wheaton Park District boundaries. When necessary, and in special circumstances, each team can roster a pitcher and/or two additional position players from outside the established boundaries (currently, all players are within the boundaries).

The Wildcat program prides itself on the integrity of its coaches, sound fundamentals, and keeping players together from 10 years old on. We work on all aspects of the game year round, including fall ball, winter indoor practices, and spring and summer tournaments. Because we are all from one community, we are able to compete at both A and B level tournaments.

The Wheaton Wildcats is a feeder program for the Wheaton high schools. The high school coaches are invited to work with our 10U, 12U, and 14U (non-high school) players during the indoor practices.

The Wheaton Bobcats Travel Softball Program is for those players who play in a Wheaton Park District Youth Softball league (http://www.wpdathletics.org/pgs/wpdybs/index.html). The Bobcats are considered "short-season" travel teams who play a minimum of three tournaments in July and August. Tryouts for the 10U, 12U, and 14U Bobcats will occur in April or May of 2010 at Atten Park (Field #15 next to the playground and concession stand).

The Wheaton Park District Wildcat Program annually hosts the popular Wheaton Red, White, and Blue Tournament. The 2010 tournament is July 2, 3, 4, and 5. Click on the "Wheaton Red, White, and Blue Tournament" link for additional information and an entry form.
