The Wharton Clash at the Canal 3 was a great Tournament again this year and the Rockaway Twp Team clinched the Championship Wednesday night with their final Victory. They ended up with a 6-0 record and defeated Roxbury with a 9-0 victory. I would like to thank all of the towns who participated in our Tournament and those who helped run it as well. See you next year!

The Wharton Area Little League is a nationally chartered organization, has served hundreds of girls and boys from Wharton and Mine Hill since 1954. Current league size is approximately 300 children, ages 5 through 16 playing in various skill levels from T-ball to Sr. League and over 100 adult volunteers. Wharton Area Little League offers a separate girls softball program for girls ages 7 through 16. We are a member of several local Inter-Leagues and all of our older teams play other towns in the area.
We hope that our Little League program will assist your son or daughter in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty and not the winning/losing aspect of the game, the Little League program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
Yours Truly,
W.A.L.L. Executive Board
