The Enfourcer, following a dodgy introduction in to our lives as 'that gob***e from Southampton', has become a stalwart Whale over the last few years. Everpresent at socials and always happy to take on the logistics underpinning so many Whales traditions (starting the songs, awarding the pints, quoting the Canadian National Health Service regulations, etc), Al has proved himself both indispensible and also a good listener (ie. people always try to keep talking to prevent him getting a word in edgeways).
A distinguished playing career (so he keeps telling us) was punctuated by THAT late hit in Stirling, and, in later years, being mauled by the Whales D when he bravely/stupidly stood in as Sharks QB at OBW 2000.
