June 7, 2008 Game (1)
Taylor playing in her 2nd tourney with Xplosion starts off with 18 points in the 1st half half to give Xplosion a 29-25 halftime lead. Xplosion goes on to win 65-55 over Texas Stars -Gonzales , Taylor led the way with 21 points, Whitney followed with 14 pts., Aspen added 9 points, Michelle in her first tourney scored 8 points, Tara scored 6 points, Savannah had 4 pts. and Alyssa with 3 points.
June 7, 2008 (Game 2)
Xplosion comes out slow trailing 25-21 at the half against the Rim Rockers but gets rolling in the second half to come back and win 51-46 Taylor leads the scoring again with 17 pts., Whitney put in 11 points, Aspen added 10 pts., Tara scored 8 points, Michelle had 4 points and Savannah 1 point.
June 8,2008 (Game 3)
Xplosion jumps out to a 27-16 halftime lead over BB Trailblazers and cruise to a 50-27 win. Taylor led all scorers with 17 pts., Whitney added 11 pts., Aspen scored 7 pts., Tara put in 6 pts., Savannah added 5 pts. , and Alyssa and Michelle each had 2 pts.
June 8, 2008 (Game 4) Championship!!
Xplosion starts out only shooting 5-35 in the 1st half and trail 42-16 at the half to N.Tx. Heat Elite. Xplosion fights back in the 2nd half but loses 58-38 in the championship to finish 2nd place! Aspen and Taylor led the scoring with 11 pts each, Whitney added 10 points, Savannah put in 4 pts. and Alyssa added 2 points.

May 31, 2008 (Game 1)
Xplosion jumps out to a 26-23 lead at the half against Tx. Lady Netburners and cruise in the 2nd half to a 65-41 win. Whitney had a nice game shooting 8-12 to lead the scoring with 19 points, Taylor in her 1st tourney with the team scored 15 points, Aspen added 12 points, Joey scored 7 pts. and Amanda and Kelsey each had 6 pts.
May 31,2008 (game 2)
Xplosion has a tough game and loses to a good Girl's Unit team 55-43. Aspen, taylor, Whitney and Kelsey all had 8 points each., Joey had 7 points, and Alyssa and Amanda each added 2points.
May 31,2008 (Game 3) Xplosion has another hard fought game and loses 59-54 to All Net. Whitney led the scoring with 15 pts. Taylor and Joey each had 12 pts. , Kelsey added 8 points, Alyssa added 4 points, Amanda scored 2 points and Aspen had 1 point.

Xplosion wins game 1 over the Holliday Hoopsters 59-11, After jumping out to a 32-11 halftime lead , Xplosion gives up 0 points in the 2nd half to coast to the win. Whitney led the scoring with 12 points, Lacey added 11 points, Lauren, Joey, and Aspen each had 8 points, Amanda had 6 pts., Denea' scored 4 and Alyssa added 2 points.

In a rematch with Primetime, Xplosion starts out slow leading by 6 at the half, but comes alive in the 2nd half to win 58-36, Whitney again led the scoring with 16 points, Amanda and Lacey each added 12points, Alyssa scored 9 pts.,Lauren put in 6 pts. and Joey had 3 points.

Playing Shorthanded Xplosion jumps out to a 43-11 lead at the Half over HERO and coasts to a 73-29 win to finish league play a perfect 6-0. Alyssa had her best game ever finishing with 24 points, Lacey also had a great game with 21 points, Joey scored 11 pts., Lauren added 7 points, Denea' put in 6 pts., and Aspen scored 2 points.

Xplosion wins Pool game 1 over the North Texas Vipers - Ward 39-18. Xplosion jumps out to a 17-5 halftime lead and roll to the win. Skyler had a good game leading all scorers with 14 points, Lacey also had a good game with 13 pts. Alyssa added 6 points, and Allie and Riley each had 2 points.

Xplosion wins pool game 2 over North Texas Vipers 34-22. Xplosion leads 16-7 at the half and goes on to a 12 point win. Skyler led all scorers with 11 pts. Allie and Lacey both had 5 pts., Alyssa,Aspen, and Kylie each added 4pts., and Amanda added 1 point.

Xplosion trails by 6 at halftime and fights back to lead and loses on a free throw with 5 seconds left 39-38. Joey and Lacey lead the scoring with 8 points each.
Amanda added 7 points, Allie 6 points, Kylie had 5 points, and Skyler ended with 4 points.

In the semifinal game Xplosion girls had a bad game as the shots just would not fall and lose 36-17 to the Vipers. Skyler led the scoring with 7 pts. Allie added 5 points, Kylie and Lacey both had 2 points and Amanda had 1 point.

Xplosion wins the 3rd place game over N.Tx. Vipers - Ward 34-10. Xplosion only allow 2 field goals the whole game as they cruise to the win! Lacey led the scoring with 7 points, Joey added 6 points, Skyler had 5 points, Kylie and Lexie each had 4 points, and Alyssa, Amanda, Aspen and Riley all had 2 points as 9 out of the ten girls all scored. Allie played a good game but her shots just wouldn't go in.

With 4 new players Xplosion comes out and plays a good game but loses to the Hot Shots 38-34. Skyler in her 1st game back leads the scoring along with Kylie with 8 pts. each. Allie in her 1st game with the team adds 7 points, Lacey scored 4 points, Lexie adds 3 points, and Joey scores 2 points.

Xplosion wins game 2 over Texas Liberty 3. 37-28. Allie and Skyler lead the scoring with 9 points each, Lexie added 5 points, Kelsey and Lacey each had 4 points, Joey, Kylie, and Riley each had 2 points.

In the 3rd place game Xplosion plays hard but a bad call at the end of the game helps Xplosion lose to Texas Thunder 42-38. Skyler leads the scoring with 9 points, Lacey added 7 points, Allie scores 6 points, Joey adds 4 points, Aspen and Lexie each have 3 points, and Kelsey, Kylie and Riley all add 2 points each as all 9 players get on the board.

Xplosion comes out in game 1 and rolls to a big win over Nocona 49-17. Lacey playing in her first game with the team starts off great with a game of 16 points, Kylie and Alyssa both scored 8 points, Joey and Kelsey each added 6 points, Aspen and Sara had 2 points each, and Chasidy scored 1 point.

Xplosion loses a heartbreaker in Overtime to Team Texas 36-35. Aspen led the scoring with 9 points, Whitney left the game in the 1st half with a badly sprained ankle but scored 7 points, Alyssa also had 7 points, Kelsey added 6 points, Kylie had 4 points, and Amanda added 2 points.

Xplosion wins a hard fought battle over Texas Liberty 360 , 43-42. Joey had a good game to lead the scoring with 11 points, Aspen and Kylie both scored 10 points, Whitney added 6 points, and Amanda, Kelsey and Loudell all scored 2 points.

Xplosion plays a good game but comes up short 42-37 against Team Texas. Alyssa and Kylie led the scoring with 9 points each. Amanda and Whitney each scored 6 points, Joey and Sara both had 3 points, and Aspen scored 1 point.

Xplosion wins game (1) over Texas Primetime 34-22. Xplosion jumps out to a 9-5 1st quarter lead and then goes on a 16-5 run in the 2nd quarter to take a 25-10 half time lead. In the 2nd half the girls made a few turnovers and a few bad calls let Primetime close in a little but Xplosion still rolls to a 34-22 win. All 8 players scored with Kelsey leading the way with 7 pts. Alyssa and Loudell both added 6 points.,Joey had 5 pts., Whitney scored 4 pts., Chasidy, Amanda, and Shelby each had 2 pts.

Xplosion wins game (3) over the Amigos 37 - 29. after a slow start with shots not falling and trailing 10-9 at the half, Xplosion comes out in the 3rd quarter and goes on a 19-8 run and rolls to another win in a hard fought battle. Whitney had another good game scoring 14 points, Joey added 9 points, Amanda had 5 points, Chasidy added 4 points, Alyssa and Loudell each had 2 points, and Kelsey added 1 point.

Xplosion wins game (4) in a rematch with the Amigos 46-33. This game Xplosion comes out shooting a lot better and jumps out to a 25-16 halftime lead and goes on to a 13 point win. Amanda had a great game scoring 14 points ,Alyssa had a good game adding 12 points, and Kelsey also was hot adding 11 points. Joey scored 5 points and Whitney and Loudell each added 2 points. Sara and Shelby both added some good defense in the win!

Xplosion wins game (5) against the Byers Lady Stingerzzz 68-45. The Lady Stingerzzz came out hot and took a 1st quarter lead 18-12 but the Xplosion girls turned it up in the 2nd quarter and went on a 14-5 run to take a 26-23 halftime lead. In the 3rd quarter Xplosion outscores the Stingerzzz 18-8 to go up 44-31 and come out and score 24 points in the 4th quarter to roll to a 23 point win. Joey had 1 of her best games ever scoring 19 points, Whitney had another great game scoring 15 points, Kelsey also had a great game scoring 14 points. Alyssa added 8 points, Loudell put in 6 points, Amanda scored 4 points, and Chasidy scored 2 points. Sara and Shelby added some good defense and assists in the big win!!!

Xplsion wins game (6) over Texas Primetime 44-36 to go 6-0 on the season. Xplosion starts out cold shooting only 2-12 in the first quarter and trails 13-4. In the 2nd quarter Xplosion girls get hotter and shoot 7-18 to close the gap to 21-20 at the half. The 3rd quarter cold shooting again but even the score at 25-25. The 4th quarter the girls come back and outscore Primetime 19-11 to take the win by 8 points. Whitney again leads all scorers with another 14 point game. Joey has another good game with 11 points, Kelsey comes through again with 10 points, Amanda added 6 points, Alyssa put in 2 points and Loudell scored 1 point. Sara , Shelby, and Chasidy all helped out with assists and defense!

The girls come out in the 3rd quarter and go on a 19-2 run and cruise to a 30 point win! Whitney had 1 of her best games ever scoring 22 points, Loudell also had a good game scoring 12 points. Shelby had her best game of the year scoring 7 points along with Joey also putting in 7 points, Kelsey scored 6 points and Chasidy and Alyssa each added 2 points. Sara didnt score but she added some good defense and some help on offense at point guard !!

Xplosion starts out on a 18-0 1st quarter run and cruises to the win to finish league play a perfect 8-0.Kelsey had a nice game with 16 points, Whitney scored 10 points, Shelby had her best game of the season scoring 8 points,Sara broke her scoring jinx by adding 7 points,and Chasidy, Joey, and Amanda all added 4 points each. What a great season !!!

July 22-23,2006 Norman,Oklahoma MAYB Tourney
Xplosion finishes 2nd in Norman MAYB Tourney!!!!
Game 1 - After a 7 week layoff Xplosion comes out and plays a little sloppy and trails Harrah Lady Panthers 20-14 at halftime but again never quits and comes back to win 29-28 on a last second drive to the hole by Joey with 1.5 seconds left for the win! Sammy led the scoring with 12 points,Joey had 7 points, Kelsey 4 points and Macy ,Whitney and Kylie all added 2 points each.
Game 2 - Xplosion plays the Oklahoma Eagles 8th grade team and struggles against the height of the older team and loses 59-28. Kelsey and Sammy led all scorers with 7 each, Joey added 4 points, Macy and Whitney both had 3 points and Alyssa and Kylie each added 2 points.
Game 3 -Xplosion plays another 8th grade team the CHA Crusaders but comes out with a 41-22 win. Sammy had a great game with 18 points, Macy added 9 points, Whitney had 8 points, Kylie 4 points,and Alyssa 2 points.
Game 4 -Xplosion starts strong and rolls to a 48-12 win over the Mustang Fury 48-12
as all players scored with Sammy leading the scoring with 11 points, Joey added 10 points, Kelsey, Macy and Alyssa all had 8 points each, Whitney scored 2 points and Kylie 1 point.
Game 5 - Xplosion again starts strong and plays really well and never looks back in a 59-10 win over Oklahoma Hoops. Kylie had a nice game scoring 14 points, Whitney also had a nice game with 12 points, Alyssa and Macy each added 8 points, Kelsey added 7 points, Sammy had 6 points, and Joey had 4 points as all girls scored! Xplosion goes 4-1 and finishes 2nd place.

June 3-4,2006 Plano,Texas Primetime Sportz Tournament
Xplosion Finishes 2nd Place in Plano Tourney!!!!
Game 1- Xplosion starts out slow against ABC and trails at the half 25-11 but fights back to get within 1 point with 1 1/2 minutes to go and ends up losing 41-33
Sammy leads the scoring with 13 points, Macy and Joey each add 6 points,Whitney scored 4 points and Kylie had 2 points and Kelsey 1 point.
Game 2- Xplosion again starts slow against Wichita Falls Storm trailing early 16-4 but never gives up and fights back to pull out a 27-26 win! With only 7 players and Macy going down early with a sprained ankle Xplosion really gave it all! Kylie led all scorers with 10 points, Whitney added 7 points , Sammy had 6 points,Kelsey and Alyssa both had 2 points.
Game 3- Xplosion finally comes out ready to play and blows out the Whitewright Lady Tigers, leading 30-10 at the half and rolls to a 50-16 win. Sammy had a nice game scoring 16 points, Alyssa had a good game with 12 points, Kelsey put in 10 points, Whitney added 6 points, Kylie had 4 points and Joey had 2 points.
Game 4 Team Texas plays really tough and leads 15-14 at the half and gives Xplosion a tough game but Xplosion pulls away at the end for a 41-30 win. Sammy had another great game with 15 points, Whitney also had a good game with 13 points, Macy came back to add 7 points, Kylie, Kelsey and Joey all added 2 points.
Game 5- Xplosion starts strong to take a 23-6 half lead against Texas Heat and rolls to a 42-9 win to go 4-1 and finish 2nd in the tourney!!! Kelsey and Macy led the scoring with 10 points each, Sammy added 9 points, Whitney 7 points, and Joey,Kylie and Alyssa all had 2 points each.

May 20-21,2006 Plano Tx. Primetime Sportz Tournament
Game 1 -Xplosion loses a hard fought game to the Wolverines 45-41.Xplosion plays a good game but shoots only 15-34 from the free throw line which was the differnce in the game. Sammy had a great game leading all scorers with 20 points, Kelsey, Macy, Whitney,Amanda and Joey all added 4 points each and Alyssa had 1 point
Game 2 -Xplosion comes back from a 14 point deficit in the 1st half to lose another close game to DFW Elite 48-44. Xplosion again misses 15 free throws which was the differnce again. Kelsey led the scoring with 9 points, Sammy and Joey each added 8 points, Macy had 7 points, Amanda 6 points, Whitney, Kylie and Alyssa all had 2 points each.
GAME 3 -Xplosion loses to Texas Thuinder- White 50-38 as they beat us in transition.Sammy led all scorers with 9 points, Kylie had 8 points, Macy added 7 points,Kelsey 6 points, Amanda and Joey both had 4 points.
Game 4 - Texas Thunder -Black fails to show up at game time and Xplosion wins on a forfeit.
Game 5 -In a rematch of Sat. nights game Xplosion loses a Heartbreaker to Texas Thunder-White 32-31. The girls stopped their transition baskets and it came down to who had the last possesion.Macy had a great game scoring 14, Sammy had another good game with 11 points, Joey had 4 points and Whitney added 2 points.

April 29-30,2006 Keller,Tx. Primetime Sportz Tournament
Xplosion finishes 2nd place in Keller tourney!!!
Game 1 - Xplosion rolls to a 25-6 half time lead and sails to a 43-8 win over the Ft.Worth Outlaws only allowing 2 points in the second half! Sammy had a great game shooting 9-14 for a nice 18 points, Whitney shot 4-8 for 8 points, Amanda added 7 points,Macy had 6 points, Joey and Shelbye both had 2 points.
Game 2 Xplosion plays Texas Thunder- Black,The first half was a hard fought 15-12 lead for Xplosion but in the second half Xplosion gets rolling and pulls away to a 42-27 win. Macy had a great gane leading all scorers with 14 points, Joey had 9 points, Sammy added 7 points,Amanda scored 5 points,Alyssa had 4 points,and Whitney had 3 points.
Game 3 Championship Game :Xplosion plays Texas Liberty and fights hard in the first half but trails 25-16 at the half, In the second half Xplosion runs out of gas and and cant control the paint and falls 52-29 to finish 2nd place The girls played really hard but need to keep working and improving but it was a good weekend! Sammy led the scoring with 10 points, Whitney added 8 points, Joey had 4 points, and Macy had 3 points. I am really proud of all the girls the way they never give up and always work hard!!!! March 25-26,2006 Denton, Tx Primetime Sportz Tournament
Game-1 Xplosion playing shorthanded with only six girls plays a hard fought battle vs ABC but runs out of gas in the end losing 42-26, The girls gave all they had but with only 1 sub and a wide open game it was just too much to overcome.Sammy led the scoring with 10 points, Whitney added 7 points, Danielle with 3 points and Alyssa and Loudell each had 2 points.
Game-2 With only 1 hour rest Xplosion comes back with 8 girls and plays Texas Thunder . After a hard fought 1st half with Xplosion leading 14-10 the girls come back in the 2nd half and outscore Texas Thunder 35-9 to roll to a 49-19 win!! Skyler led the scoring with a nice 18 points, Sammy had another good game with 14 points, Whitney added 8 points ,Joey added 3 points, Alyssa , Danielle, and Loudell each added 2 points. The girls played a great game offensively and defensively!!
Game-3 In the 3rd place game we played New Hope Explosion from Mississippi and it was a very physical game with no help from the refs. Xplosion leads all the way till under 1 minute to go and ends up losing a heartbreaker 46-44. The girls played an awesome game but with very few fouls called it was a hard loss to take .The girls are really improving every game!!!! Joey had a great game scoring 13 points, Sammy added 11 points, Alyssa and Whitney both had 6 points, Danielle had 4 points, and Amanda and Skyler each had 2 points. I feel like we are getting some very valuable experience and we are improving every game!!! Nice work by all the girls and some great coaching help from Coach John !! Coach Jimmy :)

March 11-12 2006 Plano Primetime Sportz Tournament
Xplosion playing in their 1st Primetime tournament comes out with a 4th place finish. The girls came out in the 1st game and overcame an early 10 point deficit to beat Titans Basketball club 33-31 to advance to the semi-finals. Sammy Hislop came out in her 1st game on the team and was high scorer with 10 points,Danielle had 8 points including two 3 pointers,Macy had 6 points,Joey and Whitney each had 4 points, Skyler had 3 points and Alyssa had 2 points.
In the semi-finals Xplosion Played well and built a 8 point half time lead but some bad calls and missed free throws ended up losing a heartbreaker to Cedar Hill Magic 45-42 Danielle led the scoring with 13 points including three 3 pointers, Sammy had another good game adding 11 points,Macy scored 7 points, Skyler added 5 points,Amanda 4 points and Loudell had 2 points
In the third place game Xplosion couldnt get a call and shots just wouldnt fall but still stayed in the game and lost a low scoring game to Southwest Black Knights 29-24, Joey and Skyler led the scoring with 5 each, Danielle and Macy both had 4 points and Sammy, Alyssa and Whitney all had 2 points, It was a learning experience and a lot of fun as we venture out into the Competitive tournaments but I think we held our own very well !! Feb.18,2006 (7:00 pm) Xplosion wins Southside Youth Senter Championship 28-19 over Byers Lady Stingerzzz !!!!!! Xplosion caps off a Perfect Seasom 11-0. Xplosion jumps out to a 9-2 first quarter lead and leads all the way in a hard fought championship game as they beat the Lady stingerzzz for the 3rd time in a row in the last 3 weeks!! Amanda Fuhrman led all scorers with 8 points, Skyler and Macy each added 6 points, Whitney scored 4 points, Joey had 3 points and Danielle had 1 point. Loudell played great ball pressure defense to shut down Lacy and Alyssa and Bethany played great zone defense!!I want to thank all the girls for a great season as we had the best players and parents ever!!!! And the 2005-2006 Xplosion team deserved the championship as they played great as a team!!! Coach Jimmy

Xplosion wins Playoff semi-final over Holliday Reds 50-12 to go 10-0 on the season with 1 game to go!! Xplosion goes out to a 10-6 first quarter lead and never looks back as they roll to a 24-6 halftime lead and only allow 6 points the last 3 quarters. Xplosion shoots 22-54 (40.7%) and 2-3 from 3 point range. Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 12 points, Macy added 10 points, Amanda had 8 points including two 3 pointers, Whitney and Joey each had 6 points, Danielle had 4 points and Alyssa and Loudell each added 2 points. Bethany added some great defense and assist as always!! Great TEAM effort!! 1 Win away from the championship !!!!

Xplosion wins game (9) over the Byers Lady Stingerzzz 38-22. Xplosion jumps out to a 10-4 first quarter lead and takes a 22-9 halftime lead and then keep stretching the lead the rest of the game to take a 16 point win to go undefeated in conference play 7-0 and 9-0 overall. Xplosion now gets a 1st round bye in the playoffs and will play the winner of the Reds Trojanettes 1st round game. Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 11 points, Joey had 8 points, Amanda added 5 points including a nice 3 pointer! Danielle, Macy and Whitney each had 4 points. Alyssa had 2 points and Bethany and Loudell both played a great defensive game as always!! Only 2 wins away from the championship and a perfect season!!!

Xplosion goes out to a 9-3 1st quarter lead and then stretches it to 12 points at the half, Xplosion comes out in the 3rd quarter and stretches the lead to 20 and then cruises to there 8th win in a row, 8-0 overall and 6-0 in conference with 2 games to go, Great win girls!!!! Another total team effort as 8 out of 9 girls scored and all played great defense!! Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 10 points, Macy added 8 points, Loudell,Joey and Danielle each added 4 points, Alyssa had 3 points, and Whitney and Amanda both added 2 points and Bethany added assists and great defense as she always does!!

Xplosion wins game (6) over the Holliday Reds 48-8, After a slow 1st quarter leading 6-2, Xplosion goes on a 16-3 run in the 2nd quarter to take a 22-5 halftime lead. Xplosion comes out in the 2nd half and scores 26 and only gives up 3 points on the way to the 6th win in a row to go 4-0 in conference and 6-0 overall. Amanda Fuhrman led all scorers with 12 points , Macy had 10 points, Whitney with 8 points, Joey and Skyler each added 7 points, Bethany and Loudell each added 2 points. Xplosion rolls to a 24-3 halftime lead and shoot 20-63 (31.7%)on their way to the win. Skyler Patterson leads the way with 12 points,Danielle and Macy each had 8 points,Joey added 6 points,Whitney had 4 points,Bethany and Amanda each had 2 points. Alyssa added some good defense. We shot 24-67 (35.8%) and played some great defense!!! 7 out of 8 girls scored with Alyssa Wyatt leading the way with 14 points,Macy added 8 points,Whitney 7 points,Skyler and Danielle each had 6 points and Joey and Loudell each had 4 points and Bethany had some great assists off the press and played great!! All the girls played great offensively and defensively!!!

Xplosion wins game (3) over Texas Primetime 37-32. Xplosion leads all the way but Texas Primetime played us very hard and stayed in the game, We shot 13-56 (23.2%) well below our first two games but played well enough to win. Amanda Fuhrman had some nice shots to lead the scoring with 12 points,Whitney had 9 points,Skyler had 8 points even though she was in foul trouble with limited minutes still made some great plays, Danielle and Loudell both added 4 points with Alyssa ,Joey and Bethany all helping out with assists. That puts our record at 3-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play !!!

Xplosion wins game (2) 43-14 over the Holliday Reds. After a slow start in the 1st quarter being tied 6-6 Xplosion comes out in the 2nd quarter and goes on a 25-6 run shooting 12-13 (92.3%) to take a half time lead of 31-12, In the 2nd half Xplosion shuts the Reds down only allowing 2 points to roll to a 43-14 win!!! For the game Xplosion shoots 21-43 (48.8%) Alyssa Wyatt led the scoring shooting 6-8 (75%) with 13 points, Skyler had 10 points,Whitney 8 points,Macy 6 points, Bethany,Danielle,and Joey each had 2 points. Loudell added some great defense for a great win from TEAMWORK!!!!

The girls played a great game offensively and defensively with all 9 girls scoring!! We shot 24-64 (37.5%) with Skyler Patterson leading the way with 12 points followed by Macy Cooke and Whitney James with 8 points, Loudell, Joey, Danielle, and Amanda all had 4 points,Bethany had 3 points and Alyssa had 2 points. The new 2005 summer Xplosion team comes out and wins there 1st game playing together 15-13 over the Burn. Xplosion shoots 5-40 for only 12.5% but plays defense well enough to overcome the weak shooting, Alyssa Wyatt leads all scorers with 6 pts., Whitney James scored 5 pts. and Skyler Patterson with 4 pts. Amanda,Joey and Bethany all contributed good hard defense and offensive help!! A good start for the season with a 1-0 record!!

Xplosion lose a heartbreaker 14-12 in overtime to Nothin but Net, After trailing 6-2 at the half Xplosion comes back to take the lead 12-11 late in the 4th quarter but a NBN free throw ties it and sends it to overtime, Whitney James and Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 4 points each and Alyssa Wyatt and Joey Drury each added 2 points.It was a great team effort with Kimia,Amanda, and Bethany all contributing great offense and defense.

Xplosion wins game 3 over the Heat 24-16, Xplosion start out on a 10-0 run in the 1st quarter and go on to win, shooting 12-44 (27%) Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 10 points ,Whitney James added 6 points,Alyssa Wyatt 4 points,and Kimia Tinati and Joey Drury each had 2 points, Bethany Hale again played a great defensive game to help the team out!!!

Xplosion comes back from a slow start down 6-0 and trailing the 1st quarter 7-3,to take a half time lead 13-12 and slowly stretched the lead to win game 4 28-20 over Texas Primetime.It was a total team effort with all 7 players scoring, Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 12 points, Joey Drury had 6 points, Whitney James and Kimia Tinati each had 3 points,Alyssa Wyatt had 2 points, and Amanda Fuhrman and Bethany Hale each added 1 point! It was also a great team effort defensively as our presses worked pretty well to get some well needed turnovers! I really like how the girls never give up and always give 110%!!! The win moves our record to 3-1 with 2 games to go.

Xplosion wins game 5 over the Knicks 30-27, After trailing at the end of the 1st quarter 10-8, Xplosion goes on a 10-3 run to lead 18-13 at the half and leads the rest of the way in a tough fought battle but the girls again played a GREAT defensive game!!! Fot the second week in a row it was a team effort offensively with all 7 players scoring!Amanda Fuhrman and Whitney James led the way with 7 points each, Joey Drury, Skyler Patterson, Alyssa Wyatt each added 4 points, and Bethany Hale and Kimia Tinati both had 2 points!!!Great win to go 4-1 on the season!!!

Xplosion loses game (6) 22-14 to the Burn. After a slow start trailing 10-2 after the 1st quarter and 12-4 at the half ,we went man to man in the 2nd half and closed to within 2 points in the fourth quarter but our shots just wouldnt fall. Shooting only 11.3% (6-53) We ran out of gas at the end but the girls gave it all they had and played a great game offensively and defensively!!! Some times its like the basket has a lid on it!! Skyler Patterson led the scoring with 6 points, followed by Whitney james, Bethany Hale, Kimia Tinati and Alyssa Wyatt all adding 2 points each. I AM VERY PROUD OF OUR WHOLE TEAM AS THEY ALWAYS GIVE 110%!!!!!

Xplosion wins YMCA post season Tournament 42-19 over Texas Primetime!! Xplosion playing with only 5 players played their best game of the season shooting 18-57 (31.6%) and playing a great defensive game,Xplosion jumped out to a early lead and kept stretching it out, Xplosion led 7-4 in the 1st quarter, 22-6 at the half, 32-16 at the end of the 3rd quarter and 42-19 at the end, Skyler Patterson had her best game ever shooting (9-20) and (4-6)from the free throw line for a spectacular 22 points!!!!!Whitney James had a good game with 9 points followed by Amanda Fuhrman with her best game of the year scoring 7 points, Alyssa Wyatt capped off the scoring with 4 points. Although Bethany Hale didnt score she made up for it with her great ball pressuring defense!!And a SPECIAL thanks to Joey Drury for coming and cheering her team on as she was unable to play because of a sprained ankle! Thanks to all the girls for a great summer League!!!!!!!!!!!Coach Jimmy!!
