WFSA - SE Texas League: Welcome

The S.E Texas League, LLC was started for women who have a love of softball in mind.  Ladies do you remember how it was when you first stepped onto that softball field? Were you nervous, scared, but excited all at the same time? Did you play in high school and/or college only to stop after school was out because there wasn't anywhere else to play? Did you watch other girls and women play in high school or college and think it looked like fun but felt intimidated?

The S.E Texas League is committed to providing fast-pitch softball for all levels. The main idea is simple: FUN. It is fun when you lose knowing that you could compete with the other team instead of having no chance at all. It is fun to compete and be competitive. The S.E Texas League wants to bring this type of experience to the world of women's fast-pitch softball. 

If you remember the excitement that you had when you first played be prepared to get that excitement back.

LEAGUE START DATE:  The league is looking to begin on June 15th.  We want to get as many women as possible.  Games will normally be played in the late mornings or early afternoons depending on number of teams and weather.

SEASON DETAILS: The season will include 10 regular season games, single elimination playoffs, and a Championship game.  An All-Star game will be played if players and coaches want one.

REGISTRATION and PLAYER FEE: The registration fee and player fee will be replaced with a team fee.  The team fee is $1000 which is based on 10 women per team and 6 teams.  The Women's Fast-Pitch Softball Association (WFSA) caps teams at a maximum of 15 people per team.  We want everyone to play and will try for 10 women per team but this number can increase based on the number of players who want to play.

IMPORTANT DATES: The deadline for team fees will be June 1st.  Players can register via Facebook, email, or phone.  A contact form for registration will also be available later on in the week.
