WELCOME TO THE WEYMOUTH YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

Registration for the boys and girls 2007 spring season will be on Wednesday, November 29th at 7:30 pm - 9 pm at the Weymouth Elks on Washington Street.

The Weymouth Youth Lacrosse program is part of the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse Program that governs youth lacrosse in Eastern Massachusetts. Our philosophy is simple: There are no standings kept, no league championship or playoffs. We play all players as equally as possible with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun experience for all involved. We police ourselves in the effort to provide an outlet for kids that has not been swept up in the pressure filled, win-at-all-cost mania that is too present in today’s youth sports. Lacrosse season begins the week of March 22, 2006. There will be two practices a week where all players are expected to attend and if they are unable to then a phone call should be made to players coach Thank you for taking part of the Weymouth Youth Lacrosse program.
The 2007 Spring season begins the last week of March 2006 and ends the middle of June 2007.
All league games are played on Sundays.
The cost will be $150.00 per player. This includes a new uniform, US Lacrosse membership, Lacrosse magazine subscription, 8 games with practices, and end of season cookout.

Updates will now be here for all cancellations due to the problem with the pop up window not always working when the site is visited. Please check the site before you leave your house to make sure there have been no changes made. We cannot make the determination if an away game is cancelled or not and have no control when that decision is made. Many times, the decision is made at the last minute in hope that the game will be played. Sorry for the confusion. I appreciate the input and we are always asking for suggestions to make this process work for everyone. Also,on the left hand tab under ADMIN, you can see the time and date when the web site was updated, this way you will know that you are getting the most recent information.
