How do I get a registation form?  Forms are NOT on-line, still do things old school here.  You need to e-mail Steve Lawton at slawton1@cox.net or call at 826-8132

Where are games played:  We use 3 well lit outdoor courts in West Warwick.   2 are at Rivepoint Complex and 1 is located behind Masie Quinn Elementry School.

Court Locations :    Riverpoint Courts are at 106 Hay Street West Warwick RI 02893 and Masie Quinn Elementry School is at  1 Brown Street West Warwick RI  02893

Is there practice?  No practice, games only.

What days are games played and what times are they played?  Games are played Mon -Thur.  No weekends and no Fridays.  Game times are 5:30-6;30-7:30 and 8;30pm.  Older kids typically play later in the evening.

How many games a week will I play?  Typically you play 1 game 1 week followed by 2 the next week and 1 the following and so on.

What are the age groups:  We offer 6 divisions:  Girls 9-12 and Girls 13+; Boys 9-10, Boys 11-13 and Boys 14+ and a co-ed Instructional Divison for 7 & 8 yr old Boys and Girls who play on a 8 1/2' basket

Do you have to be from West Warwick to play:  No, anyone is welcome.  Last year we had kids from 30 different towns.  Jamestown, Newport, Fiskville, Providence, West Warwick, Cumberland, Warwick, Coventry, West Greenwich, Smithfield, Cranston, East Greenwich, North Kingstown,  Saunderstown,Scituate, North Providence, Johnston, Chepachet, Portsmotuth, Exeter, Hope,  Foster, Narragansett, Glocester, East Providence, Cumberland, West Kingston, Greenville and yes  even CT (Moosup, Woodstock &  Sterling).

Can my child play up a division?  Yes, if you feel your child is good enough and can handle the more physical play and speed of the game of playing" up", absolutly.  Just be sure to mark it on your registration form.

Is it OK if we miss games due to vacation , travel or other sports:  Absolutly.  No one ever makes every game in summer league.  We have 9-10 kids per team so if a 3-4 kids miss a game here or there, no big deal.

Can I play with my friends?  We try to accomodate every request for kids to play with neighbors and/or friends.  We understand the need to car-pool.  Just mark it down on the registarion form.  Keep in mind however, we try our best but can not guarnetee 100% of all requests will be honored. We do an excellt job with the younger kids, the older ones it gets more difficult.

Are their playoffs?  Yes, we offer playffs in all divisions EXCEPT the Instructional Division.  In divisions where playoffs are held, every team will particiapte.  In the larger divisions, we offer a gold and silver championship.  Gold is for top 8 teams, silver for bottom 8 teams

What do the kids get for winning?  A championship T-Shirt  (Instructional Division, all kids get a small trophy for playing).
