FREE Basketball Clinics
We will be running 3 free basketball clincs for 3 seperate age groups. After the clinic, most of the teams in that division will be having their 1st games of the year.
All clinics will be held on court 1 at Riverpoint Park 106 Hay Street, West Warwick.
Tuesday, June 26th Boys 4/5th grade 5-6:15pm
Wednesday, June 27th Girls 9-12yr olds 5-6:15pm
Thursday, June 28th Boys 6/7th grade 5-6:15pm

EVERY team makes the playoffs.
In the larger divisions we will have a gold playoff (top 6/7 teams qualify) and silver playoff (bottom 6/7 teams qualify).
T-shirts awarded to all championship teams.
Our concession stand will be open game nights from 5:30-9:00pm
We will be selling chicken fingers, french fries, motzerella sticks, hot dogs, candy and drinks
Questions typically asked
Do you have to live in West Warwick to play? NO, anyone can play. We have kids from East Greenwich, Exeter, West Greenwich, Scituate, Smithfield, North Kingstown, Providence, Jamestown, Warwick, Foster, Chepachet, North Smithfield, Johnston, Fiskville, Hope, Clayville, Wakefield, Saunderstown, and Coventry, We also have kids from nearby CT -Moosup, Dayville, Plainfiled and Stearling.
What nights are the games? Mon-Tue-Wed-Thur
How many games a week do we play? Typically 1 game the 1st week, 2 games the following week, back to 1 in week three, then 2 again and so on.
What times are the games played? 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm
Where are the games played? Games are played on 3 well lite, outside basketball courts. 2 courts are located at Riverpoint Park (106 Hay Street, WW) and 1 court is behind Masie Quinn School (1 Brown Street, WW).
What is the age cut off to play? Boys & girls 7-17yrs old as of July 1st, 2018.
Are there different divisions for each age group? Yes, we offer 7 divisions - Instructional Division for boys & girls ages 7-8yrs old and they play together on a 8 1/2' basket; Girls 9-12 (middle school division); Girls 13-16 (high school division); Boys 9-10 (4th & 5th graders); Boys 11-12 (6th & 7th graders, Boys 13-14 (8th & 9th graders) and Boys 15+ (10th-11th-12th graders).....grade entering next school year
Can my child play "UP" if we'd like them to? Yes, if you feel like your child can compete playing with the older kids, by all means. Just be sure to mark it on registration form.
Is there practice? No. Games only and nothing on Fri-Sat-Sun nights.
Is it OK to miss a game or two? Yes, it is the summer time, everyone has plans. Very rarely does a player or coach make every game.
How are teams made? Coaches recieve a list of kids and they take turns selecting players off the list. The list has info such as height, position played and past experience (JV, CYO, Travel, Rec, etc).
Are their playoffs? Yes, we have playoffs in all divisions except the instructional division. Winning team gets T-Shirts.
