Common Questions

I don't live in West Warwick, can my child still play?  Yes, last year we had players form  towns such as East Greenwich, West Warwick, Exeter, North Kingstown, Smithfield, Johnston, Scituate, Cranston, Warwick, Jamestown, Providence, Rumford, Foster,  Hope, Narragansett, West Greenwich, North Smithfield, Coventry.

Where do you play the games?  We play at Riverpoint Park (106 Hay Street, WW) and behind Masie Quinn Elementry School (1 Brown Street, WW).

What time are the games?  5:30pm-6:30pm-7:30pm & 8:30pm   All 3 courts are well lite.

What nights do you play the games on?  We play Monday thru Thursday, no weekends!

Does my child play on a certain night of the week each week?  NO, the computer spits out the schedule, games scattered all over the place Mon thurThur night

When do you start the league?  We start the week of July 7th and end the week of August 18th.

Can my child play "UP" a division?  Yes, if you feel like he/she can compete in the next division up, we will allow it.  Just remember, the leval of physical play grows as you play in the older divisions.

How many games a week do you play?  Typically a team plays 1 game one week, 2 the next and back to 1 the following.  Ends up being about 10 games PLUS playoffs.  And yes, all teams make the playoffs.

Is it OK to miss games?  Yes, it is a summer league and everyone has family plans.  Virtually no one makes every game in a summer league.  Your child will not be penalized for missing games.

When do you practice?  There is no practice, just games.

Do you need coaches:  Absolutly, we are always looking for parents to help out.  Last year we had 50 teams in our league so YES, we need help.  If interested, make sure to note in on childs registration form.
