12U Red Team goes 5 - 0 and takes 1st Place at Bagby Classic!

The girls played strong defense and the bats came alive! The team's combined scoring totals were 28 runs scored to only 7 runs against. Down 2 - 1 in the bottom of the 7th in the championship game, in dramatic fashion, the girls strung together key hits and scored the game winning run with two outs!

8U All-Star record goes to 17 -2!

After three tournaments, the 8U All-Star team continues their impressive record of 17 - 2.  The team avenged their loss to Campbell Crush at the Bob Gray Invitational in Almaden a week earlier by defeating them at the Bagby Classic to capture 1st Place.

Session2: Pitching & Catching Camp

July 12th– 14th; 10am – 12pm (Ages 10 – 18)

Cost:  $145 per camper

* priceincludes 1 pair knee savers for each catcher; 1 spin right pitchers trainingaid for each pitcher

** eachcamper will receive a SCU Softball T-Shirt

 

Session 3: Santa Clara Softball Prospect Camp

July 20th– 22nd ; 9am – 3pm (9th-12th gradeONLY)

Cost:$375 per camper (Lunch will NOT be provided)

The West Valley Slammers is a non-profit organization who offer girls, ages 5 to 16 a chance to learn teamwork, responsibility, discipline and sportsmanship while enjoying the game of fast-pitch softball in a safe and fun environment.

As you may imagine, keeping the fields and equipment in a safe operating condition can be very expensive. Facility improvements in the last few years have included: repairing backstops, maintaining on-site batting cages, installing new equipment boxes and maintaining a safe playing surface on our in-fields.

In addition, we have created and introduced a new "Scholarship Program" so that all girls in our community are able to play softball regardless of financial challenges.

We invite you to become a sponsor of the West Valley Slammers by making a tax-deductable $350 team sponsorship donation.

If you would like to make a donation to our "Scholarship Program", please add an additional $50 to the above amount.

In appreciation of your sponsorship, we will provide the following recognition of your business or ogranization.
  • Company name proudly displayed on the team banner and back of jerseys.
  • Verbal acknowledgement at major events - opening day, closing day, etc.
  • A "Thank You" team photo plaque for display in your business or office.
