Snack Shack Duty Rules to Follow
Please take the time during your duty to review all postings including Opening & Closing Procedures.
Enjoy your time working the snack shack. Remember to keep your eye on the cash box and merchandise at all times.
· Money & merchandise are your responsibility while on duty today.
· Do not hand out any items with out first receiving payment.
· All workers, volunteers & league representatives (except Umpires) must pay for any order.
· Children are not authorized to substitute for you in any way during your snack shack duty—especially at the remote station by the fields. If your child is sitting with you, that’s okay, but they may not work the cash box and cannot watch over it so you can walk away.
· Volunteers: do not leave or become distracted from your accepted snack shack post.
· Teenagers, this is a job that you are being paid to work in someone’s place. They expect you to do your best—as do we. A job well done keeps your name on the list for future shifts.
If your child of 14-17 years is interested in being on the list of trained worker’s for hire, they can e-mail their name and phone number to Steph@wvgs.org.
They will be notified of the upcoming Spring Registration Snack Shack Training Seminar. You must take the short training course in order to qualify to work in Spring.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
