WEST SUBURBAN BASS ANGLERS
Welcome and thank you for visiting the site of the West Suburban Bass Anglers (WSBA), a Illinois Bass Federation Nation club, located in the Chicago area.
History:
The WSBA was formed in 2002. Since then, members have enjoyed fellowship and a little friendly competition, while fishing the lakes and rivers throughout northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin. We have anglers of all skill levels and abilities and we pride ourselves on helping each other enjoy bass fishing to its fullest.
Tournaments:
Every year, 10 tournaments are scheduled from April through September with a club "Classic" held in early October. Our club format is boater vs. boater and non-boater vs. non-boater (draw tournaments), with anglers in both divisions accumulating points, while competing for the title of "Angler of the Year". Almost all of our tournaments are single day events, except for the "Classic", which is a 2-day event. There are entry fees for every tournament and places are paid based on the number of entries. There is also an optional "Big Bass" pot for every tournament.
As a member of the Illinois Bass Federation Nation, we also qualify and send teams to the 6-Man State Qualifier tournament, with a chance to make it to the Northern Divisional tournament, the BASS Federation National Championship and ultimately, the Bassmaster Classic.
Club Membership:
Membership is open to any national BASS member who qualifies under the BASS Federation Nation guidelines. We are always looking for boaters and non-boaters.

Big Bass Pot...$5/tournament
Meetings:
Club meetings are held at 7:00 on the second Wednesday of every month.
