Dear Westside Players, Parents and Families,
Let me be the first to say “Welcome” to another great year of Westside Little League baseball!
Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Mark Dobbelmann, your 2012 Westside Little League President. I’ve been a league member for over 7 years as a father of 2 players, serving on the Board as the 2010 President, 2011 Information Officer, 2012 Sponsorship Coordinator, Assistant Coach, Coach, Bat-a-Thon emcee, and District All Stars announcer encompassing all levels of play.
Watching my 2 sons grow and develop as players and kids is such a rewarding experience, of which West Side Little League plays a significant part. As President, my commitment to you the players and families of Westside Little League is to collectively and collaboratively work with the board, managers, coaches, umpires and all parents/volunteers to ensure the kids, the players have the most enriching, rewarding, and fun experience possible.
We will accomplish this thru frequent communication, established process, new/innovative ideas, and continuous improvement. At the end of the day, it’s about the kids – without them, there would be no Little League.
The WSLL Board and I have already been working very hard on the 2012 season initiatives. We have some great things planned, some old favorites and others completely new and innovative. We'll continue our “Best in Class” approach to everything we do with you playing a critical role in its success.
Volunteerism – I would like to encourage you to volunteer! As you know, our Leagues’ survival is contingent on our volunteers. Team Managers, Coaches, Coordinators, and more - we could really use your help!
“One person can do some, but many can do it all.”
