Welcome to the Greater West Shore Baseball League

Click for Camp Hill, Pennsylvania Forecast Providing suburban Harrisburg, Pennsylvania youth with fair and wholesome baseball competition, a better understanding and appreciation of the game, and the development of applicable skills, the Greater West Shore Baseball League offers a supervised and scheduled program of baseball contests with special emphasis on leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The League is composed of five baseball associations:
Highland Athletic Association (Dan Law, 612-9757), Lower Allen Baseball Association (Tim Hoagland, 737-2758), Upper Allen Baseball Association (Dave Lint, 796-1636), Lemoyne Youth Baseball (Mike Zampelli, 512-7394) and Wormleysburg Athletic Association (Dan Hollingsworth, 697-3859) .

Meeting Schedule

Next GWSBL Board Meeting - Monday May 12th 2008 at 8:30 PM, Wert Field House

Greater West Shore Baseball League meetings are generally held on the second Monday of every month at the Wert Field clubhouse in Mechanicsburg at 8:30 p.m. during daylight savings time and 7:30 p.m. during standard time. Check here for any changes to the scheduled meeting date or time.

Primary activities of the organization are game scheduling and playing rules for tee ball, pony, minor, and major levels; maintaining statistics and establishing post season play for minor and midget levels; arranging certified umpires at the midget level; facilitating interaction among member associations; and assisting with conflict resolution when League interests are involved.
