We teach the important aspects of the game, a sense of fair play, the skill of the sport, and how to have fun competing, to girls’ ages 4 -18 who reside in the City of West Sacramento.  This training helps prepare our girls for high school and college level ball.    

Welcome back!  The new board has been elected and I am proud to be your new President.  If you scroll down the new board members are listed below, or click on the link to the left labeled "Board", and the new board members have been updated. 

I’d like to welcome everyone to the West Sacramento Girls Softball Little League 2012 season.  We are a league that is run 100% by volunteers and parents to bring softball to the community of West Sacramento.  Our league includes divisions for girls ages 4-18.  Currently we have T-ball, Minors, Majors and Juniors/Seniors.

Although softball has been in this community since the 1950's, Little League Softball was established here in 2004.  We are dedicated to providing the girls with an opportunity to learn and play softball.  Softball is geared to provide a healthy atmosphere and interaction between girls that otherwise may not have known each other.  Please help me continue these efforts and make the most of their experience.

Remember winning is nice, yet the experience of winning passes quickly.  The skills and values they learn from softball will be used as building blocks for their future.
