Storm G95 takes Frank Sobil GOLD!
May 2 & 3, 2009
Congratulations to the Storm G95 girls on a weekend where they showed their mettle in being crowned tournament champions of the Frank Sobil Oshawa kicks Premier Division U14 Girls tournament.
The Storm took the to the field in game one with a full complement of players but from then on played short with 2 sub’s (1 for the final 2 ½ games) after losing players to a school trip and injury. All players stepped up to the challenge and preformed well to see the team top of the table when the dust settled. The G95 finished with a record of 4 – 1 – 0 (W-T-L) 16 goals for and 2 against. Well done girls!

West Rouge Storm 95' Girls to visit Mercyhurst College
Home of the "LAKERS"
University Preparation Program - 1995 West Rouge Storm Girls embark on their maiden visit to a U.S university soccer camp. This will give players and parents an insight into the experience and route student athletes travel to pursue their education and sporting exploits in the USA.
Mercyhurst College is located in Erie, Pennsylvania, in the USA.
The girls arrive at Mercyhurst on Sunday July 26th and return Thursday July 30th, 2009. They will reside on campus student dorms for the duration of the stay and train under the guidance of university Head Coaches Keith Cammidge and Dale White. The Girls will be training twice daily on the newly renovated stadium pitch with tactical blackboard sessions intermingled in the schedule. Exhibition games have been scheduled against local US club teams. The players will live student athlete campus life while at Mercyhurst and will receive valuable information and garner a feel as to what to expect if this is the route they wish to pursue in 4 years as a university student.
