9TH ANNUAL WEST PINES KICK-OFF CLASSIC TOURNAMENT GIRLS WEEKEND
***GIRLS WEEKEND UPDATE ISSUED 11/02/05***
Dear Friends: Much progress in recovery has been made and based on the feedback we have received, we know everyone is anxious to return to the soccer fields and wishes that the tournament continues. Also, since most of our teams participate in the local FLUGSA league, we have been in communication with them in order to avoid conflicts. The schedule below has FLUGSA president Steve Enos and VP Jeff Hy's support.
New game dates are as follows:
Girls 11 & 12 will play Nov 12 - 13. There will be no FLUGSA games that weekend for U11 & U12.
Girls 9 & 10 will play Nov 19 - 20. There will be no FLUGSA games that weekend for U9 & U10.
Girls 13 & above will play Nov 19 - 20. FLUGSA president Steve Enos has approved U13 & U14 teams that are participating in the tournament and currently have FLUGSA games scheduled that weekend, to contact your opponent and rescheduled your FLUGSA games without a penalty. I encourage you to do it ASAP so that it does not become too late.
We understand that the revised dates selected are a conflict for some teams. It's impossible to have selected dates which would have pleased 100% of the teams. However, we feel that these dates are in harmony with the greater majority, and based on the best interest of the tournament this is the decision we have made. If there are teams that cannot play on the above dates, please reply to pat_villagran@fpl.com by Sat, Nov 6th, 2005.
The game schedules should remain the same, however, some changes may occur if teams withdraw or are added. So, please check the web pages www.eteamz.com/westpines or www.westpinesunited.com the week of your games to insure you have your correct game times.

WEST PINES BOYS U13 RALEIGH SHOOTOUT CHAMPIONS!
Paolo Dal Farra’s U13 Boys won the Championship in the CASL Raleigh Shootout this weekend in North Carolina. They won 3-0 against AFUSA West from Georgia, tied SOCA Express from Virginia 2-2 and beat CASL Premier from North Carolina 4-1. They met CUFC Gold from North Carolina in the Finals and won the championship with a score of 2-0.
