 Softball is a great sport for girls!!

The focus is always on:

learning skills

building self-esteem

working together with team spirit

having fun with friends, old and new.

Join now and don't miss out on the fun! 

The softball season begins immediately after April vacation and continues until the week before school ends. 

Kindergarten – Teams are small with a focus on basic skills and understanding of the game.  Have fun with friends, new and old, so sign-up with your buddies!!  The tee will be used and phased out as appropriate.  Practice/games are Mondays 5:30 - 7:00 in-town.   

1^st Grade – A step up from Kindergarten, still lots of fun! Wednesdays 5:30 – 7 p.m. in-town. 

2nd & 3rd Grades - Now we are playing with “outs” and the spirit of competition ramps up a bit but the focus is still on the positive! The fun continues while skills and self-esteem develop. If the numbers work, we may split these grades this year. Third grade would be come a “transitional year”  to prepare the players for the increased skill and competition in the upper grades.Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 – 7 p.m. in-town. 

4th-5th Grades - The players are pitching now!  We play other teams in a tri-town league with Wellesley and Wayland. 3X week Tues/Thurs/one weekend afternoon. 

6th-8th Grades -   We continue to play it the tri-town league with Wayland and Wellesley.  3X week Tues/Thurs/one weekend afternoon.  

General notes: 

* Optional indoor batting cage and team gym practices start in Late-February for 4-5th and 6-8th grade leagues. 

*We need usually need coaches and will provide a coaches clinic to learn the basics so get involved with your daughter’s sport!
