ATTENTION
Tryouts For Spring 2010 are scheduled on
February 11th 6PM – 8PM
February 13th 9AM – 12PM
Players need only attend one tryout session.
All registered players will be assigned to a team.
Call for Volunteers
If you wish to participate in any capacity as a volunteer; manager, coach, assistant coach, team parent/dugout supervisor, umpire, concession stand or any other position that involves close contact to the players you must file the Volunteer Application 2010. Each person that wishes to participate as a volunteer must provide this application and a photo copy of their driver's license. The information on this form will be used by our Safety Officer to perform a background check of the volunteer for the safety of our children.
If you have any interest in managing or coaching a team, you should also provide a completed Manager / Coach Application. Managers are approved by the Board of Directors.
UMPIRES
WOLL is in need of Little League qualified umpires. Our league is umpired by volunteers; unlike many of the local leagues that charge more for registration but pay their umpires. Many of our highly qualified and highly experienced umpires no longer have children participating in Little League Baseball. WOLL needs to increase its staff of volunteer umpires. The neccessary training can be obtained:
Feb. 27 & 28 On Saturday (Feb. 27) from 8am to 4pm, clinic will take place at the Lost Creek Park - 3703 Lost Creek Blvd. in Sugarland, 77479. On Sunday (Feb. 28) from 8am to around 3pm at the First Colony Conference Center at 3232 Austin Parkway, Sugarland, 77479.
Who is eligible to play?
Boys and Girls ages 5 to 16 based on your age as of April 30, 2010
