I just recently went to this tournament on May 10th 2008. To be nice I will say I had THE WORST SOCCER EXPERIENCE IN MY 17 years as a player and it being the first year as a soccer coach. This tournament was poorly RAN and the referees were sickening to say the least. Oh and the FIELDS were absolutely DISGUSTING and not maintained AT ALL! It had appeared as if North America had had an earth quake 10 times over. I had requested the convenor to call me since the field representative (acting convenor) was no older than 16 although polite was not the right person to deal with the situation and still have not been contacted. So I chose to write instead. I am only one of many coaches who feel this way and if needed I can list the other teams. Had I known this was such a HORRIBLE tournament I would have saved my team and myself from the hardship of driving approx and 1 and 30 minutes out of our way and just had an exhibition game instead! I now know of 13 yes 13 other teams who will NOT be entering your tournament next year because of the lazy refs (who wear BLACK sunglasses at 7:00pm when there were nothing but dark clouds), poor field conditions and inadequate convening.

| We had a really great time at our first WNIST. Met some awesome teams like the Oakville Avalanche and the Islington Rangers. Can't wait for next year. |
