Where Everyone Is A WINNER!
Dixie Diehards is a league designed just for people with disabilities. We have a special field at the Biedenharn Sports Complex that was built by the West Monroe Kiwanis to accommodate players with disabilities. The field includes an artificial surface for the base lines that helps our players in wheel chairs.
We are divided into 3 leagues:
§ Youth League for ages 5 through 12
§ American League for ages 13 and up with beginner to intermediate skills.
§ National League for ages 13 and up with intermediate and higher skills.
For the Youth and American Leagues we have community volunteers who “Buddy” our players to make sure that they have a safe and enjoyable time playing baseball.
