Trophy Ceremony
To close out the 2009 Fall Session of WSA's Academy, we will have the trophy ceremony on November 8 in the Winter's Mill High School Auditorium. The ceremony will start at 2PM for the U5 and U6 Divisions, and 3PM for the U7 and U8 Divisions.

MATCH DAY CANCELLATION POLICY
ON MATCH DAYS THE WSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS, GRADE GROUP COORDINATORS AND ACADEMY DIRECTOR WILL CHECK THE FIELDS EARLY IN THE MORNING. THE DECISION TO PLAY OR NOT PLAY WILL BE POSTED ON THE WSA WEB-SITE, AND AN E-MAIL SENT TO COACHES. IT IS THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THEIR PLAYERS OF THE DECISION. IF THE WEATHER CHANGES DURING MATCH PLAY OR ANYTIME PRIOR TO MATCH PLAY, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COACHES OF DIVISION TEAMS TO MAKE A DECISION TO PLAY OR CANCEL. ANY GAMES CANCELLED CAN BE PLAYED DURING THE WEEK.
IF A MATCH IS CANCELLED PLEASE ADVISE THE ACADEMY DIRECTOR IF YOU INTEND ON RESCHEDULING, SO WE CAN ENSURE FIELDS ARE AVAILABLE. IF A MATCH IS BEING RESCHEDULED DURING THE WEEK, WE WILL NEED TO CHANGE SOMEONE'S TRAINING SESSION DAY, OR FIND A WAY TO WORK AROUND IT.

Carroll County Lightning Policy, Parks and Rec Volunteer Form, and Code of Conduct Form
Coordinators, volunteers and parents. Please visit the Handouts Section to view the Carroll County Policy on Lightning. In short, the field needs to be cleared after the first stike and remain cleared for 20 minutes after the last strike. This policy is in effect for thunder as well.
Also in the Handouts Section you will find the Parks and Recreation Volunteer Form and the Code of Conduct Form. The Volunteer Form needs to be filled out for everyone who is helping out on the field with the teams. The Code of Conduct Form needs to be reviewed and signed by every parent and/or guardian of the players.
