Monday, October 12Friday Futsal at Four Season's Sports Complex
Friday Night Futsal Registration is now open for Friday Night Winter Futsal at Four Seasons Sports Complex. For more information go to the Carroll County Youth Soccer Assoc. web site at http://www.ccysl.org/
Depending on registration numbers, there will be five one hour sessions beginning at 6pm on Friday nights in January and February. (1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26)
The younger players usually play in the earlier sessions. High School JV and Varsity aged players usually start at 9pm and 10pm.
These sessions are limited to 16 players and usually fill up quickly. The registration deadline is Friday November 27th 2009. First come - first serve.
Please use the link below to enter your information online. Print and sign the confirmation page and mail it in with your payment ($50) to the CCYSL P.O. Box. The registration process is not complete until we receive a signed copy of the registration data and your payment. You should also receive an email confirmation.

Paige Wagner announced as winner and awarded 2009 WSA Scholarship.....
Important up to date WSA HeadLines!
On June 2, 2009, Paige Wagner received the 2009 Westminster Soccer Association Collegiate Scholarship Award. Paige is graduating from Westminster High School a year early, will attend Stevenson University and plans to become a Physical Therapist.
In addition to playing soccer for WSA for 9 years, Paige volunteered over 100 hours helping with practices, lining fields, setting up goals, mowing fields and line judging games.
Congratulations Paige and best wishes in your future endeavors!

WSA & Greene Turtle Restaurant Partner on Soccer Ball Fundraiser
The WSA and the Greene Turtle Restaurant recently team up and partnered in a soccer ball fundraising project. All the proceeds raised from this fundraiser will benefit the members of the WSA and its soocer programs. These new balls are $12.00 and are available at "Play it Again Sports" located at the 140 Village Shopping Center, Westminster, Maryland. Come support your soccer club today and buy either a #4 or # 5 ball today!
DECEMBER 9, 2008: FUNDS FOR FRIENDS! A Fundraising Event for the Whole Community! The WSA and Greene Turtle Restaurant located at 830 Market Street, Westminster have teamed up for a special fundraising event from 11:00 AM to Closing. Our Youth Soccer program will recieve 10% of this Tuesdays Sales as a donation to the WSA! Please come out and support your Youth Soccer Program by participating in this special event!

WSA Wildfire U-14 Girls takes 2nd Place at LTRC County Cup Classic

The WSA Wildfire U-14 Girl's team participated in the 9th annual LTRC County Cup Classic August 22 - 24, 2008. The team took second place after defeating Hickory Lazers 1-0, Belair Blaze 2-0, LTRC 2-0. In the Championship game the team fell 2-1 to Cockeysville.

WSA U-8 Blue Angels Place Third in "Kick It" 3V3 North East Regional Tournament

WSA U-8 Blue Angels came in Third Place in the Kick It 3v3 North East regional Tournament this past weekend in Redland, Pa. The Blue Angels had a very tough schedule... They had to play the team that took First Place three times and was ranked 18 th. nationally. The Blue Angels gave them there only loss of the tournament. The Blue Angels have qualified to play in the National Tournament to be held in Disney this coming January, 2009.
