2009 Fall Ball Participation Sets New Record
The 2009 Fall Ball season at WMLL began on August 31 with a record number of players registered. 632 players (up from 576 in 2008) from all over the area are now competing in six different levels of play, with 150 from other area leagues as far away as Reedsburg, Mineral Point and Fort Atkinson!! The six leagues this year are as follows:
---- Minor Lg. Baseball (7 thru 9 year olds)
---- Major Lg. Baseball (10 thru 12 year olds)
---- Junior Lg. Baseball (12 thru 14 year olds)
---- Senior Lg. Baseball (14 thru 16 year olds)
Girls Softball has two teams at the Minor and 4 teams at the Major age levels. Most teams play a weekday game and one weekend game, with the season ending in mid-Ocotber.
