Little League Baseball is an organization designed to build good citizens. It is a program of leadership, preparing today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders. At the local level, Little League relies on a devoted legion of adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. West Hills Little League is always looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to support and coordinate Little League events and activities. As a volunteer, you should have a keen interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children. Anyone can apply to become a volunteer. Whatever talents or skills you have, we can use them! Across the country, volunteers are grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, retirees, community leaders, former Little Leaguers, friends, neighbors and more. Any community member who wishes to become a volunteer may apply. All parents of children involved in Little League are strongly encouraged to volunteer. As a parent volunteer, you have the opportunity to spend quality time with your child in a safe, fun-filled environment. Oftentimes, parent and child social lives parallel each other. Volunteering allows your life and your child's life to intersect on common ground, with shared interests and goals. Please contact any Board member if you are interested in volunteering. You are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Santee American Little League relies on all of the volunteers and supporters in our community to make our youth organization successful. Last year, there were almost 400 young people who participated in our program and without your help, their involvement would not have been possible.
We understand that these are challenging economic times for most. These funds help pay for uniforms, equipment, maintenance, insurance, etc. There are no paid staff members in Santee American Little League --all of our members are volunteers. You get the satisfaction of being a important part of one of our community’s best youth organizations and our success.
Santee American Little League, is a non-profit organization, and in most cases, your generous contribution is tax deductible. Due to the commitment of our past & present supporters and volunteers, we have developed a tradition of providing an outstanding learning environment where citizenship and sportsmanship are taught in addition to baseball skills.
Again, on behalf of the board of directors, the volunteers and supporters, and all of the boys and girls who participate in the Santee American Little League, Thank you.
