SCORE KEEPERS CLINIC
WHLL Scorekeepers Clinic was held on February 16th.
For those who missed the clinic or needs any information, please contact the Head Score Keeper Mila Mendoza at 619-954-3282 or mila2337@cox.net.
Every Caps, Minors & Majors team has to have at least one scorekeeper at each game. Two volunteers out side of the fence that knows how to keep score is recommended. Managers, Coaches and parent volunteers are invited.

SAFETY AND FIRST AID CLINIC
A mandatory First Aid Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Santee City Hall. WHLL requires at least one manager or coach from each team to attend. The training will be provided by the Santee Fire Department, and will cover the basics of first aid with an emphasis on baseball injuries. Find the flyer in the Hand Outs!

The 2012 Players Clinic put on by the West Hills High School Varsity Baseball team was awesome!! Head Coach Jason Fowler and his coaching staff worked our players through a fun and rigorous 2 hour clinic. While the coaches provided instruction, the WHHS players worked directly with our little leaguers to show them how it's done.
A very special THANK YOU to the WHHS coaches and players for putting on a great clinic for our kids.

Little League Baseball is an organization designed to build good citizens. It is a program of leadership, preparing today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders. At the local level, Little League relies on a devoted legion of adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. West Hills Little League is always looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to support and coordinate Little League events and activities. As a volunteer, you should have a keen interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children. Anyone can apply to become a volunteer. Whatever talents or skills you have, we can use them! Across the country, volunteers are grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, retirees, community leaders, former Little Leaguers, friends, neighbors and more. Any community member who wishes to become a volunteer may apply. All parents of children involved in Little League are strongly encouraged to volunteer. As a parent volunteer, you have the opportunity to spend quality time with your child in a safe, fun-filled environment. Oftentimes, parent and child social lives parallel each other. Volunteering allows your life and your child's life to intersect on common ground, with shared interests and goals. Please contact any Board member if you are interested in volunteering.
