Manager changes Jobs

************Halliford semi-final in first outing************
Westfield’s new under 15 team started very promisingly at the Halliford colts tournament reaching the semi-finals in their very first outing together. In a tough group including Ashford Town, Sheen Lions, Feltham and Halliford they came through in runners up possition conceeding only one goal.
The ¼ final was a clash with AFC Ewell who had topped their group winning 3 and drawing 1. ‘Field played some excellent passing football and in their best performance of the day won 1-0 the great all round team performance was capped by a fine goal from Sam Lewiston to win the game, he cut inside a defender and fired low and hard into the bottom corner.
The semi-final saw the new team put up a valiant effort against a very strong West Middlesex side including two boys on Watford’s books, they lost 0-2 with a late 2nd West Mid goal flattering the scoreline but it did not take the gloss off a very promising first outing together.
