Dancing in the aisles, getting caught on the dance cam, pictures with Steel, Daffy Duck, Twitty Bird

some exciting basketball making NBA history in Springfield..

Speaking of Slam Dunks we had all this fun and raised $106 for the AFLAC Pediatric Cancer Center

A postcard will be going out with your final amounts due. They must be paid immediately.

In 2010 all payments will be due upon making the team. Please start planning now...

very competitive level of basketball experience.

A message from Selects President Brian Powell

Hello everyone

In the first 10 years the Selects was offering 13 to 15 total teams each season

with the boys teams and girls teams combined.

In 2009 we cut theteams back to 8 teams

last year for example the Selects had as follows:

Girls 13, 14

Boys 11, 12, 13, 14A, 14B, 16

a total of 8 teams

I have decided that for the 2010 season the Selects will offer

 again offer no more than 8/9 teams total

This will make for more highly competitive teams and a more "club like" feeling

in a much more controllable atmosphere that was certainly enjoyed by all this past season.

In 2008 at our tournaments we instituted a "no tolerence policy" with

no yelling at the coaches, players and referees and no coaching from the parents.

In 2010 the Selects want players that want to play and improve to the next level and

both players and parents that want to be part of a "club" and participate, be involved, help out

 and

sit back and enjoy what the

2010 Western Mass Selects AAU can offer.

If the above sounds like what you are looking for we will welcome you....

We have a no tolerence policy at our tournaments.  Anyone yelling at the coaches, players, referees and tournament support staff will be asked to leave. Any fighting or ejection by any player or coach will suspend the player(s) and coach(s) for the tournament
