Western Mass Intensity is a young womens fastpitch softball organization based in Western Massachusetts. Our major focus is providing oppurtunities for young athletes in Western Mass to play winning tournament softball. The Intensity is a year round softball organization for players who make softball a priority, either practicing, playing indoor seasons or tournaments throughout the year. Skill advancement, team building and fun are priorities as we work to prepare our players for higher levels of softball.
The summer of 2011 was a successful one for WMI. Intensity teams won seven tournament championships including an ASA state title. With the continued hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, and parents we expect another big year in 2012. For the 2011/2012 season we will field teams in the 14u(2), 16u(2) and 18u age divisions and will strive to play tournament softball at a highly competitive level and provide oppurtunities for our athletes to enjoy and advance in the game of fastpitch softball .

Western Mass Intensity will be conducting tryouts for 2012-2013 14u, 16u and 18u teams on Tuesday Aug 14th, 2012 at Agawam High School and Thursday Aug 16th, 2012 at Murphy Park in Greenfield both dates are 6pm starts.
