Welcome to the Western Lakers Homepage - Michigan's Tradition for AAU Girls Basketball

The Western Lakers of Grand Rapids, Michigan is one of the premier girls AAU basketball programs in the state. The Lakers continue to provide excellent instruction and competetive teams at the state and national level.

Many Lakers players have gone on to play basketball at the top collegiate levels.

Lakers Tryouts for 8th Grade and Under(10u - 13u)
The Western Lakers will be holding tryout clinics for girls 8th Grade and under January 6, 13 and 20 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cornerstone University. A parents meeting will be held at 1:00 PM on January 6 to discuss the program and team selections. The cost for the 3 week clinic will be $50.
