WHLL JUNIOR TEAM WINS FIRST IN DISTRICT 7
The team won a thrilling game Sunday night, July 6, in 10 innings to claim first place in their division of the District 7 tournament. Texas District 7 is a district within the Texas West division of the Southwest Region of Little League Baseball Inc. It encompasses seven counties in north-central Texas : Denton , Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somerville, Tarrant and Wise counties. The Junior Team won Thursday night, July 10, 6:00 p.m. against Burkburnett. This was the first game of the Texas West Section II 2008 Junior League Sectional.
