REBELS ROUNDUP
Welcome to the REBELS ROUNDUP homepage.
THE REBS ARE 4-0!!! THE REBS ARE 4-0!!!
After an Opening Day victory against the hometown rival Smoot Stars, a 12-10 home win against the Rupert Indians on May 10, a 14-9 road win against the Rainelle Twins, and a 22-12 triumph against the Rupert Cubs, the Smoot Rebels welcome the Twins into Smoot Field for a rematch on Thursday, May 19. Game time is 6pm. Everyone try to be there by 5:30 to warm up. Fans, you can click on Schedules and go to Games for scores and game summaries.
NEWS AND NOTES:
All the players had a ball at the Opening Day Parade. The picture schedule got a little messed up due to the weather and a camera malfunction, but we will make up the pictures during Bat-A-Thon. Next year we plan to hold the parade and pictures seperately, so maybe we can make the parade an even bigger event. Everyone thank Joe and Becky Bridges for the bubble gum that the players threw out during the parade.
DON'T FORGET ABOUT BAT-A-THON!!! This is the major fund-raiser for the League. We need to bring in all we can to continue to replace old equipment and make field improvements. Remember, the team that brings in the most pledges gets a Pool and Pizza Party at the Rainelle City Pool. Imagine that. You and all your teammates splashin' and scarfin' pizza to your little heart's desire. Also, all teams with 100% participation (each player gets at least $25) get a pizza party. Bat-A-Thon will be held the weekend of May 20-22, so get out there and get some pledges.

REBEL PARENTS NEED TO WORK THE CONCESSION STAND WHILE OUR TEAM BATS!!!
Thanks to everyone who donated money and soda to the concession stand. We're up and running, and so far we've gotten a lot of help with it. We need everyone to serve a shift in the stand, so the same person doesn't do it all the time. Thanks to Windy St. Clair and Becky Bridges for working the first game, Jason and Jennifer Church for taking care of it the second, and Maudee Montgomery, Karen Patterson, Becky Bridges, and Windy St. Clair for manning it third home game. Also, if you haven't donated your $5 and case of soda, it's not too late. We still have a long season ahead of us.
GO REBELS!!!!!!
