Training is geared to help you step up to the next level - high school, club season or the aspirations of playing college soccer – whatever your goals are, you’ll be training to get there!
Many of the exercises and techniques performed and taught in training mirror those used in Western Carolina’s varsity practices. The curriculum is thorough and physically demanding, but is tailored to meet the needs of YOU and YOUR team!

TEAM TRAINING
A unique feature of the Boys Elite Camp allows is the opportunity for teams to train and prepare for the upcoming high school seasons in a structured and competitive environment. Teams also get to test themselves daily in both small sided scrimmages and evening matches. The standard curriculum closely follows the same type of training the Catamounts perform in their pre-season training camp. (Although curriculum can be altered to accommodate a particular teams’ needs). Teams who attend camp together will be housed and trained as a team.
COMMUTER CAMPERS
Local players that do not wish to stay overnight can benefit tremendously from the daily experience of camp. Commuters do not spend the night, receive breakfast or participate in activities that are reserved for post-game play (soccer tennis tournaments, swimming pool, etc). All other benefits of camp are yours to enjoy!!!
GOALKEEPER ACADEMY
The curriculum of the WCSA Goalkeeper Academy is outstanding. The training is dynamic, challenging, and comprehensive. The goalkeeper staff includes current and former college stars and coaches. Campers are exposed to the proper skills and attitudes needed to succeed at the highest levels. The Goalkeeper Academy is coordinated with the curriculum of the field players, allowing the goalkeepers to be challenged in daily games and training sessions.
SPEED/STRENGTH TRAINING
Each day campers receive training from the WCU Strength and Conditioning staff – learning how to become more agile, explosive and physically efficient.
