Western Carolina Soccer Academy's Youth Camp is available to boys and girls, ages 4-11, and is designed to build and enhance the skills and knowledge of the developing player…while having FUN!!! The daily sessions include technical training that is taught in our Elite camps, but is tailored to the developmental age and skill of the camper. The WCSA Youth Soccer camp is both fun and challenging for all ages, offering players an opportunity to work with a highly trained staff in the technical and tactical components of soccer.

Get the MOST for your money through WCSA! Our FULL DAY camp is open to ALL campers age 4-11 and includes: a free T-shirt, full lunch, swim time and soccer fun! The fun continues in all fall - each WCSA camper receives free passes to select WCU Soccer games during the Fall season!
The Full Day Camp is arguably the BEST soccer experience of its kind for young players in Western North Carolina. Campers are taught up to date techniques in the morning sessions, are fed a nutritious lunch in the cafeteria, go swimming, watch soccer films, then return to the soccer fields for games and tactical training in the afternoon.

HALF DAY CAMP

Boys and Girls, Ages 4-11 years old
We recommend this option for 1st year 4-6 year olds
Mon-Fri: 9am - 12pm (no lunch served for half day campers)
Cost: $85
Half Day campers receive a T-shirt and swim time Monday - Thursday

The Half Day Camp is fun and exciting and is tailored for the youngest of our soccer campers. It’s a great way for the first time player to get acquainted with the skills of soccer while having a great time! All sessions are designed with the specific age and attention span of the young player in mind and are geared to bring success and FUN to the camper.

Waynesville/Cherokee SHUTTLE
WCSA offers a pick up and drop off shuttle service for campers from Waynesville and Cherokee areas.
The cost of shuttle service is $15 for the entire week. The shuttle service is available ONLY to FULL DAY campers.
Shuttle service BEGINS after camp ends (DROP-OFF) on Monday. All campers must arrange their own transportation on morning of the first day of camp/registration.
After all campers have been officially registered that morning, shuttle service is provided every morning and afternoon for the remainder of camp EXCEPT PICK UP on the final day. Campers must arrange their own transportation at the end of camp – camp ends at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Waynesville location: Hazelwood Elementary School (off of Exit 100)
Cherokee location: TBA
Morning Pick-up @ 8:30 a.m.
Afternoon Drop-off @ 4:30 p.m.
TEAM TRAINING
Teams will certainly benefit from attending our day camp. Recreation, Challenge and Classic teams will be trained as a group (in the morning sessions) by our superior staff, and the curriculum can be tailored to meet your team’s specific needs.
REMINDERS FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Each camper receives a WCSA T-Shirt and a season pass to ALL WCU Soccer Home Games for the upcoming fall NCAA Season.
Campers should bring:
- soccer ball (camp balls available for purchase)
- Cleats, shin guards and Indoor shoes/sneakers (in the event of inclement weather and for cafeteria/movie room)
- Bathing suit and towel
- Sunscreen/ballcap
- A change of clothes in the event of inclement weather
- A current physical (within a year of camp date) is REQUIRED for participation at camp
- Check in on Monday 8 - 8:45 a.m. at WCU Soccer Stadium
- Daily Drop Off: 8:30 - 9:00 a.m at Soccer Stadium
- Daily Pickup: Fullday 4:00 p.m. at Soccer Stadium (M-TH); Halfday 11:45 a.m. at Reid Gymnasium
- This camp ends at half day (11:30-12 p.m.) FRIDAY for ALL campers- NO lunch is served on this day
