About Us
West Cobb Xplosion '01 is a second year 10U team that plays out of Lost Mountain Park in Powder Springs, GA. The team is primarily made up of 2001 birth years.
The philosophy of our team is to play at the highest level possible but also to make sure our girls have time for life outside of softball. Therefore, we typically only play 2 tournaments a month with no more than 2-3 practices during the week depending on whether or not we have a tournament. Most of our girls also take pitching and/or hitting lessons on their own.
We also believe in the value of building character in our girls and giving back to the community through service events. You can follow us on Facebook under West Cobb Xplosion 2001.
Player Needs
We are not currently looking to add players since we are winding down the season. However, we will have tryouts sometime in August for our first year 12U so stayed tuned for more information regarding the tryout.

What's Happening Lately
The girls placed 3rd in the big USFA tournament on 5/19 & 5/20 and beat some really good teams along the way. They are currently set-up to be the 3rd seed in the USFA state tournament.
