"Mariners Hockey Skills Challenge 2009" Fundraiser a Big Draw.

 Despite the nasty snow storm and driving conditions, over 40 Mariner 
players braved the weather and gathered on Saturday night, Jan 10th at 
Playland to compete in the First Annual Mariners Hockey Skills Challenge!

 The players from all levels competed against each other in 4 Categories: 
Skating, Agility, Speed and Balance - Shooting Accuracy - Passing 
Accuracy - and Goalie Shootouts!

 Prizes were awarded to the top performers in each category at each team 
level!

 Tom Laidlaw, ex-NY Ranger and defenseman, was on hand signing pucks, 
pictures, and chatting with all the players!

 Congratulations to all the Winners and thank you to all the volunteers 
who made this fundraiser a big success and FUN for all involved!
